We are staying consistent with our plays on this Friday card at Belmont. We will be keying in on races 5-10 in a pair of pick 3 plays, where I will be attacking races 5-7 and Big Pete will try his best at races 8-10. I love seeing MSW and Stake races on the card; which just means there will be a buzz in each race (Or could just be me). We are headlined by the Commentator in the 9th, so good luck BP. There will be vertical plays in each of those races by us and hope that we all can make some $$ today. GOOD LUCK.

Little Pete's Spot Pick 3:

Race 5:

This is my "gut" race where I will be taking a strong stand against the morning line favorite in the entries (1/1A); big time move by me if I do say so myself. I am just unimpressed with (1) Lottie's Mizzion and cannot make a case in my head for this horse. The other part of the entry, (1A) Queenofevrything couldn't get it done against claimers last time so I'll try to beat the both. (13) Charlotte Webley is the horse I want. The class drop alone should be enough to make this horse a strong contender. The fact that Irad chooses this one over the Brown entry carries a lot of weight. I then will be including the firsters from the powerful Chad Brown and Steven Asmussen barn's. Both (2) Mani Pedi and (5) Keep Dreamin are being run in this maiden claimer to begin their careers, which is a red flag, but they could have enough ability to get this one done.

$3.00 WPS 13 Cost: $9.00

$2.00 Ex Box 2,5,13 Cost: $12.00

Race 6:

There is plenty of speed in this one, which I think sets up both of the Chad Brown horses perfectly. I am thinking both (2) Beau Belle and (3) Vortex Road will be pressing the lead. Then the closers will come in and make this one an exciting finish. So I landed on those Chad Brown horses I stated earlier. (9) Eliade and (10) Noor Sahara have the grass jockeys aboard and will be a tough beat here. I will include (6) The Great Johanna who sure does make NY proud and has shown a great late kick. And then there's (7) Miss Munnings, who should get a forwardly placed trip from Velazquez and be a contender late. I am excluding (8) WeGetsDaMunny in here because I think that she prefers a little more distance in this one, but could prove me wrong. Again, it takes "guts."

$3.00 WPS 9 Cost: $9.00

$2.00 Ex 7,9,10 w/ 6,7,9,10 Cost: $18.00

Race 7:

The Clement/Rosario combination has been running well early at Belmont and I expect more of the same. This horse has shown the best ability to date, and I am expecting a winning ride here, with (11) Jewel of Arabia. I also like (6) Allure Fortune in this one with the understanding that this horse possesses enough speed to get to the lead early and ride it, and this cutback in distance has the potential for a wire to wire effort. I also like (1) Sharp Shooter to be a tough one in this one, I'll use as a saver to wrap up this middle Pk3.

$3.00 WPS 6 Cost: $9.00

$2.00 Ex 6,11 w/ 1,5,6,10,11 Cost: $16.00

Big Pete's Late Pick 3:

Race 8:

Brown will cut back here with (1) SAYYAAF to the 6F distance where he proved that that’s what he likes to do. Castellano will put him on the lead and try to put them to sleep. (3) EXPLORATIONIST moves back to the turf and gets Johnny V at the steering wheel. If he can stay close to the rail horse, he can grind out the final furlong to get up. Rosario had a test drive last time on (2) CHEWING GUM and will look to get this Candy Ride going a little earlier to get there late. (9) DIRTY has a nice bullet for his return and won last year off a similar layoff.

$ 7.00 WPS 1 Cost $ 21.00

$ 3.00 Ex 1, 3 w/ 1, 2, 3, 9 Cost $ 18.00

Race 9:

You have to start with (7) MR BUFF as he is the horse to beat. A big win back in February and showing no signs of letting up. I’ll include, but I’m trying to beat him as other speeds are signed on to set up a closer. (1) BANKIT is the interesting one to me. He ships back to face fellow NY Breds and attracts Irad. That just might be enough. The other logical runner is (8) PAT ON THE BACK. His numbers are good enough to win this and he won’t mind if there is any moisture left over.

$ 3.00 Ex 1, 8 w/ 1, 7, 8 Cost $ 12.00

Race 10:

Brown, again, is the main focus as he has an uncoupled entry and both can do it. I prefer

(7) STARE DECISIS. Disappointed last time when well backed, but I’m expecting him to bounce back here. The 10F is within his wheelhouse. Both outside runners will also not mind the distance. (10) SEIZE THE HAY moves back to the turf and will be the main danger. I’ll use on top and hope he holds off Brown’s other runner (11) AMANO. He closed nicely to just miss by a length last time. Rosario will most likely use the same tactics and come and get them late.

$ 3.00 Ex 7, 10 w/ 4, 7, 10, 11 Cost $ 18.00
