Friday racing at Belmont and we have you covered with a pair of pick 3 plays. I will be attacking races 4-6 and Big Pete will close with races 7-9. We also will have our "Play of the Day" on a race we would like to try and improve the bankroll on. We appreciate you following along and hope we can all make it a profitable day.

GOOD LUCK.

R4: 3, 5, 7

R5: 5, 6, 7, 12

R6: 2, 7

Cost: $24.00

Big Pete's $ 1.00 Late Pick 3:

R7: 2, 9, 10

R8: 2, 3

R9: 1, 4, 5, 9, 10

Cost: $30.00

Race 2:

I am leaning on (2) Prime Time Player to run a winning race in here. This horse ran well at this distance first time out and the workout leading in makes me believe this horse is to be forwardly placed early. I think that Rosario will be able to navigate a nice trip in here and the others in this field do not scream "dominant."

$5.00 WPS 2 Cost: $15.00

$3.00 Ex 2 w/ 1,3,4,5 Cost: $12.00

Big Pete's "Play of the Day":

Race 3:

(6) BREADMAN came off the bench last month to face G3 runners and ran a decent 6th beaten by only 4 lengths. Johnny V subs in for Saez. I’ll side with this lightly raced colt as he gets L1 today and faces fellow NY Breds. 2:1 ML seems ok as this guy jumps off the page to me. We’ll key him with some long shots underneath and try to build our bankroll for the later races.

Both (7) Point Him Out and (8) Simply like to come from off the pace.

$ 7.00 WPS 6 Cost $ 14.00

$ 7.00 Exacta 6 w/ 7, 8 Cost $ 14.00

We’ll also use Breadman in R3 and try to crash in on Lil Pete’s party with a DAILY DOUBLE play.

(1A) Pendolino and (7) Barista Vixen look solid in the 4th

$ 7.00 Double 6 w/ 1, 7 Cost $ 14.00

Little Pete's Spot Pick 3:

Race 4:

I really think the horse on the lead early in here is going to be the winner, which is why I am going with (3) Chaysenbryn and (5) Mama Kin. I think that both of these horses will be aggressively ridden from the gate and find the lead early. These two horses could run away with it and a must play to me. Last play will be a stalking (7) Barista Vixen who could benefit from early pace and a nice trip from the outside. This would be my only horse to close strongly against the two front runners.

$3.00 WPS 3 Cost: $9.00

$2.00 Ex Box 3,5,7 Cost: $12.00

Race 5:

The two firsters in here are intriguing and will get a play from me. (5) Proper Grammar have the winning combination of Rosario and Clement and this horse could be ready first time out to win convincingly. (7) Discreed should get an aggressive ride in here and could be a contender late. (6) Orma is my top pick in here who should show improvement this time out and benefit from a pace to run into. Last play will be (12) Here Comes Meg who has a bullet workout leading in and we can expect Saez to place this horse forwardly early. That could equate to a sustained big run and a danger to win this one.

$3.00 WPS 6 Cost: $9.00

$2.00 Ex 5,6 w/ 5,6,7,12 Cost: $12.00

$1.00 Ex 7,12 w/ 5,6,7,12 Cost: $6.00

Race 6:

I think that this is (7) Warfront Fighter's race to lose and really like him picking up Irad in this one. This horse is coming in good form and training well leading up. This horse should be forwardly placed and a handful late. Last play will be Jose Ortiz aboard the (2) Sixteen Tons who is going to be closing strongly late and the post position will allow Jose to sit on the rail and save ground throughout. I am going to trust the brothers to close our ticket out.

$5.00 WP 7 Cost: 10.00

$3.00 Ex Box 2,7 Cost: $6.00

Big Pete's Late Pick 3:

Race 7:

I don’t particularly care for both favorites in here so I’m leaving them off the ticket. I prefer (2) BETTER WITH AGE getting back on the grass. Her best races are on that surface and she’s introduced to Jose. This More Than Ready fits the 1M distance and there is speed in here to set them up. (9) ROSE E HOLIDAYis out of a Harlan’s Holiday mare so turf makes sense. They try it today and Saez gets the mount. They will likely sit just off the pace and wait for Luis’ signal. The other one I’ll use is (10) PIE KILLER as she’s coming off an easy maiden score in an off the turf event. She gets her preferred surface and Derby winner up.

$7.00 WPS 2 Cost: $21.00

$3.00 Ex 2,9 w/ 2,7,9,10 Cost: $18.00

Race 8:

We’ll keep the ticket cost effective today and only use two in here. Clement and Rosario teamed up yesterday to wire the marathon turf race. Looking for the same today with (2) LA DRAGONTEA as she makes her US debut and adds L1. She has a win at this 10F distance and may have found the right field as there are not a lot of fillies in here with that many wins. The other is (3) SHE THROWS HEAT. Her only win was on this course with this jock up. Since then, she’s faced better fillies and gets some relief today.

$7.00 WPS 2 Cost: $21.00

$3.00 Ex 2,3 w/ 1,2,3,5 Cost: $18.00

Race 9:

We’ll spread out here in hope that we make it this far. There’s two that stand out and three value plays. (9) BERTINGA showed speed going longer and now cuts back here. L1 is added so that may explain the backing up through the stretch last time. She drops in for Bond and it’s Luis again. Maker and Irad will try the turf as they drop as well with (10) ESOTICA. They have speed, so either they both run 1, 2 all the way around or they set up the closers. The three I’ll use to close in are (1) BELLA DOMENICA, (4) SPORT MODEL or (5) MONDEUSE. All three have spared at this level and each have at least one run that puts them right there on any given day.

$7.00 WPS 9 Cost: $21.00

$3.00 Ex 9,10 w/ 1,4,9,10 Cost: $18.00
