We have a nice 9 race card today at Belmont and we are looking to take down a pair of pick 3 plays. I will be locked into races 4-6 and Big Pete will close the card on races 7-9. We also will have our "Play of the Day" on a race we would like to try and improve the bankroll on. We appreciate you taking a look at the write-up and hope we can all make it a profitable day. GOOD LUCK.

Little Pete's $ 1.00 Spot Pick 3:

R4: 1, 3, 4, 10

R5: 1, 7, 10

R6: 8, 11, 13

Cost: $36.00

Big Pete's $ 1.00 Late Pick 3:

R7: 1, 2, 4

R8: 4, 5, 6, 8

R9: 1, 3, 4, 5

Cost: $48.00

Little Pete's "Play of the Day":

Race 3:

I am going to take (1) She's a Tripp and (4) Happy Soul in this one. I like Kendrick getting the mount in this one and the post position. I think this horse will be quick from the gate to find a rail position and have an impressive kick come stretch drive. (4) Happy Soul should improve this time out and find the early lead in here and be a tough catch in this sprint. Will play the both of these horses on top and hopefully a nice price comes in late for second if it isn't these two.

$2.00 Ex 1,4 w/ 1,2,4,5,6 Cost: $16.00

Big Pete's "Play of the Day":

Race 1:

(8) ALLIED INVASION has a couple of races on his resume that makes him playable. They tried turf again last time but that was a little ambitious to put him in at 30K. He moves back to the right level and back to dirt. His best race came on Big Sandy back in October where he finished 2nd. I think we’ll get a decent price as both trainer and jock have not won yet this meet. This one turn 8.5F fits his style of stalking and coming with a run. There are several that will provide a nice pace set up for him.

$ 7.00 WPS 8 Cost $ 21.00

$ 7.00 Exacta 8 w/ 5, 6 Cost $ 14.00

We’ll also use Allied Invasion in R1 and try to cash in on a DAILY DOUBLE play.

(4) Happy Soul and (6) Lemieux look solid in the 2nd

$ 7.00 Double 8 w/ 4, 6 Cost $ 14.00

Little Pete's Spot Pick 3:

Race 4:

Spread out in the first leg and we will start with (1) Alpine Queen. I think this horse will improve second time out on grass and be able to also benefit from the class drop. (3) Ms Boombastic is getting some distance relief and will be closing strongly late with Jose Ortiz aboard. (4) Emirates Affair is going to be towards the front throughout and trust Jose Lezcano to have a great ride in here to be a tough catch late. Last play will be (10) Alpha Babe who I like getting back to grass and be a stalking horse from the outside and ready to roll come stretch drive.

$3.00 WPS 1 Cost: $9.00

$2.00 Ex 1,4 w/ 1,3,4,10 Cost: $12.00

$1.00 Ex 3,10 w/ 1,3,4,10 Cost: $6.00

Race 5:

(1) Happy Farm looks much the best in here and the class relief should pay off to get this horse back to the winner's circle. In case it is not his race I will look for (7) Clench to run a strong race throughout and (10) Home Run Maker a late closing stretch drive to compete for the wire.

$5.00 WP 1 Cost: $10.00

$2.00 Ex Box 1,7,10 Cost: $12.00

Race 6:

I am leaning on three horses to the outside to complete this pick 3. (8) Summer Bourbon is going to be running a late closing race and Mike Luzzi could steal this one. (11) Clear the Mine is also going to have his best footing late and I do not see much speed in here to run down. Last play will be (13) Win With Pride who gets Rosario back aboard and looking to repeat last performance; which should be enough to handle this field.

$3.00 WPS 8 Cost: $9.00

$2.00 Ex 8,11,13 Cost: $12.00

Big Pete's Late Pick 3:

Race 7:

Ward ships in (1) STAGE LEFT off some serious drills at Keeneland. He handled Big Sandy last year and 6F seems about right for him. Johnny V takes the mount as they look dangerous today. The other two I’ll include will likely come from behind. (2) FROSTED ICE came to life last time for Nevin. He’ll need the speeds to back up but he should be the one moving fast through the stretch. I’ll take a shot with (4) MORNING BREEZ today. He likes to finish 2nd or 3rd most of the time, but his last two races are very strong for him. If it wasn’t for a hesitant start, he probably wins last time. Lezcano now takes the controls as both horse and Jock are I good form for this.

$ 7.00 WPS 4 Cost: $21.00

$ 3.00 Ex 1,4 w/ 1,2,4,7 Cost: $18.00

Race 8:

(8) STEP DANCER is the one to beat, as he drops in for some class relief. Tagg adds L1 and give Castellano the keys. He ran ok last time only beaten four lengths against better. A Re-Pete of that effort should be enough today. Both (5) KLICKITAT and (6) GOOD OLD BOY look very similar on paper as both will stalk and come with a late run. I’ll lean more on Klickitat as he makes his 2021 debut off of some nice works. (4) NUTZFORBOLTZ is interesting. He wasn’t far from Good Old Boy on two occasions last year and Manny takes the call. We’ll include as some value.

$ 7.00 WPS 5 Cost $21.00

$ 3.00 Ex 5,8 w/ 4,5,6,8 Cost $18.00

Race 9:

Rice has two in here and I prefer (1) FEATHERS ROAD over the other one. He made his debut on a sloppy track and ran ok against a decent Schokolade. He showed some speed and Cancel will likely try the same tactics. If he can clear, he’ll be tough to run down. Likely favorite, (3) SARATOGA FLASH tried stretching out in his last two but moves back to 6F today. Jose will hope that the third time is the charm. (4) THE GREAT GAZOO has the turf blood to make him a contender. He improved 2nd time out and picks up Rosario today. I like the cut back to 6F as well. (5) ANEJO is also interesting as this firster has turf top and bottom and Saez gets the call. He may have found the right field for his debut.

$ 7.00 WPS 5 Cost $21.00

$ 3.00 Ex 4,5 w/ 1,3,4,5 Cost $18.00
