We have a 9 race card today at Belmont and we are looking to take down a pair of pick 3 plays that covers the pick 6 sequence. I will be locked into races 4-6 and Big Pete will close the card with races 7-9. We also will have our "Play of the Day" on a race we would like to try and improve the bankroll on. GOOD LUCK.

Little Pete's $ 1.00 Spot Pick 3:

R4: 1, 4, 8

R5: 2, 4, 5, 8

R6: 2, 5, 15, 16

Cost: $48.00

Big Pete's $ 1.00 Late Pick 3:

R7: 6, 7, 9, 10

R8: 3, 4, 5

R9: 4, 8, 13, 14

Cost: $48.00

Little Pete's "Play of the Day":

Race 3:

I really like (2) Risk Profile and (6) Uncle Moonlight to take this one. I also like that there is a third horse in here who could get some money thrown at them and would like to exclude in my play. I also like (4) Tremendous and (5) MoonShiningBright to be sitting back and come storming late to possibly sneak in for second.

$3.00 Ex 2,6 w/ 2,4,5,6 Cost: $18.00

Big Pete's "Play of the Day":

Race 2:

Noda sticks with Castro on (5) FIRST LINE. That team has produced a couple of nice runs that match up well against this group. Managed 3rd last time facing better and cuts back to a one turn 8.5F. All are positives to get it done here. We’ll take the short odds and look for value to sneak into the exacta. (3) Icy Dude runs well on off tracks and (6) Tri Saint Lorenzo woke up last time with Franco up. We’ll use both underneath.

$ 7.00 WPS 5 Cost $ 21.00

$ 7.00 Exacta 5 w/ 3, 6 Cost $ 14.00

We’ll also use First Line in R2 and try to cash in on a DAILY DOUBLE play in the 3rd.

(2) Risk Profile and (6) Uncle Moonlight look solid in the 3rd

$ 7.00 Double 5 w/ 2, 6 Cost $ 14.00

Little Pete's Spot Pick 3:

Race 4:

I am going to trust the Linda Rice horses in here to take this one. The outside horse, (8) Patty O'Marc, is where I am leaning as I think this horse will be set up well to run fast late against this field. (1) Up For Adventure will be my last play fresh off the claim and training extremely well coming into this one.

$3.00 WPS 8 Cost: $9.00

$3.00 Ex Box 1,4,8 Cost: $18.00

Race 5:

I really like (8) Win With Pride in here to get this one done. I think Rosario will sit behind some pace up front and run on with this one down the stretch late. I also think (4) Morgantown will be the target to try and catch, which leads me to playing in case the fractions are just too much to overcome. (2) Shamrocked will be stalking throughout and Cancel will be waiting for the moment to let this horse run on late. (5) Brush Country is my last play who I think will riding the rail throughout and Alvarado will time his run perfectly.

$3.00 WPS 8 Cost: $9.00

$2.00 Ex 4,8 w/ 2,4,5,8 Cost: $12.00

$1.00 Ex 2,5 w/ 2,4,5,8 Cost: $6.00

Race 6:

With the surface switch we have to look for those double digit post position horses to run well. (15) Moon Sweeper has been training well and the wet track will only help this horse. (16) Road to Remember will improve second time out on the same track condition and will be closing strongly. I still do like (2) Spungie as this horse has the post position and gambling that this horse is going to be just fine on dirt. My last play is going to be (5) Just Ok is Not Ok. I think this horse will be sitting right behind the pace and the Irad bump will have this horse ready to run second time out.

$3.00 WPS 15 Cost: $9.00

$2.00 Ex 5,15 w/ 2,5,15,16 Cost: $12.00

$1.00 Ex 2,16 w/ 2,5,15,16 Cost: $6.00

Big Pete's Late Pick 3:

Race 7:

Maybe it was the slop or maybe first off the Noda claim, but either way (6) RAINBOW GAL took it to the next level. She’ll need to at least Re-Pete that effort here on the jump in class but she has Rosario to walk her through it. Jose chooses (7) ELECTRIC YOUTH in this spot. She too improved 2nd out to break her maiden. Big jump for her here but she has the right connections to pull it off. (10) BANKERS DAUGHTER likes 2nd so we’ll use her there. If she can find her way to the front coming into the stretch, there’s not a lot of fire power behind her so maybe today’s the day. With no stand outs in here, I’ll swing for the fence with (9) SHESASUPERFREAK. She tailed off the 2nd half of 20’ but has shown some life in her three 21’ start all with McCarthy. My guess is they go right from the start and make the rest come and get her. She managed 2nd last time against a better field IMO.

$7.00 WPS 9 Cost: $21.00

$3.00 Ex 6,9 w/ 6,7,9,10 Cost: $18.00

Race 8:

Both favorites look the part and we’ll use. (4) TEETOTALER rolled through the State bred levels to get here. She’ll need to improve slightly with this open company Alw. (5) ICED LATTE is the other fav that I like more in this spot. She responded second time out with an easy win when stretching out. This one turn 8.5F fits well with her. (3) MIDNIGHT OBSESSION will get overlooked here as this PA bred ships in for the bigger pot. Servis doesn’t ship unless he thinks he has a shot. If the favs stub their toes, this gal will be coming late just like Dad did on Big Sandy in the Futurity.

$7.00 WPS 3 Cost: $21.00

$3.00 Ex 3,5 w/ 3,4,5 Cost: $12.00

Race 9

(13) AFLEETING GLANCE has been the most consistent of this group. She won’t mind the moisture and Cancel returns to the saddle. This may be considered a slight drop for her. I have to try a long shot in here. (8) FUNNY BONES FLAG beat up state bred two back on an off track. Then made it to the 1/8 pole against much better last time. She gets the upgrade with Rosario and might be tough to catch today. (14) HEBET did well first out in the slop against weaker. Will need to improve and is Carmouche’s first choice.

$7.00 WPS 8 Cost: $21.00

$3.00 Ex 8, 13 w/ 4, 8,13,14 Cost: $18.00
