I am trying not to get ahead of myself but I may be 7 for 7 with my plays at Belmont. We will remain consistent with our plays and attack a pair of pick 3 plays that covers the pick 6 sequence. I will be focused on races 4-6 and Big Pete will be closing the card with races 7-9. We also will have our "Play of the Day" for a race we would like to try and maximize our profits. We appreciate you taking some time to read and hope we can cash all our plays today! GOOD LUCK.

Little Pete's $ 1.00 Spot Pick 3:

R4: 1, 3, 5, 6

R5: 3, 5, 6

R6: 4, 6, 8, 11

Cost: $48.00

Big Pete's $ 1.00 Late Pick 3:

R7: 1, 2, 4

R8: 2, 3, 6, 7

R9: 4, 6, 8, 10

Cost: $48.00

Little Pete's "Play of the Day":

Race 2:

I like (8) Classic Colors in here, especially with the Jose Ortiz pick up. I think this horse is going to be the strongest running late and will be placed well early in here with Jose. I think that there is some speed inhere to run into and this horse is in good form to beat the crowd.

$5.00 WPS 8 Cost: $15.00

Big Pete's "Play of the Day":

Race 3:

Englehart claimed (1) THE QUEENS JULES in January and this Scat Daddy likes the new address. After a short rest, Jules has put together back to back efforts that will make him tough against his rivals today. He outworked 160 runners on April 10th and looks live. McCarthy returns and will look to save ground early and tip out for the stretch drive. (2) Somebody will follow that move and (3) Mister Winston will try to last the 7F distance. We’ll use both underneath.

$ 7.00 WPS 1 Cost $ 21.00

$ 7.00 Exacta 1 w/ 2, 3 Cost $ 14.00

We’ll also use The Queens Jules in R3 and try to cash in on Little Pete’s party with a DAILY DOUBLE play in the 4th.

(3) Stolen Holiday and (5) Princess Fawzia look solid in the 4th

$ 7.00 Double 1 w/ 3, 5 Cost $ 14.00

Little Pete's Spot Pick 3:

Race 4:

Tough first leg where I landed on 4 horses. (6) Publication is my top pick in here with a late closing run to take this one. I also like (1) High Opinion to run a front running race in here that could pay off late. (3) Stolen Holiday is going to hit the lead early and that could be the place to be to win this one. Last play will be (5) Princess Fawzia who I think will be sitting right behind the lead throughout and looks to be in great form to run on with this one late.

$3.00 WPS 6 Cost: $9.00

$2.00 Ex 5,6 w/ 1,3,5,6 Cost: $12.00

$1.00 Ex 1,3 w/ 1,3,5,6 Cost: $6.00

Race 5:

(6) Heavy Roller looks to be the play in here with Irad choosing this horse. I think this horse will be on the lead from the beginning and will be too much to pass late. For some insurance, I will be including (3) Hammerin Aamer with a late charge under Eric Cancel and a forwardly placed (5) Runabout who could be able to sustain a big run in here if able to find a rail position early.

$3.00 WPS 6 Cost: $9.00

$2.00 Ex Box 3,5,6 Cost: $12.00

Race 6:

(11) Cambi Lion is going to be my top pick in here who I believe will be running on with this one late down the stretch to hit the wire first. I also like (4) Mutasallem to run a similar race in here and will be a big threat late. I will also include (6) Newsworthy who I think will be instructed to find the lead early and a head start against the field is always a place I like horses to be on turf. Last play will be (8) Shaftesbury who has Irad and the distance is set up well for this horse. I think the play will be to stalk the lead and run on with this one late.

$3.00 WPS 11 Cost: $9.00

$2.00 Ex 8,11 w/ 4,6,8,11 Cost: $12.00

$1.00 Ex 4,6 w/ 4,6,8,11 Cost: $6.00

Big Pete's Late Pick 3:

Race 7:

(1) LOOKING AT BIKINIS has had trouble getting to the track with only two races in a year and a half. The positives are a steady work tab, Castellano has won on him and he sports two wins on Big Sandy. I’ll trust Brown to have him ready. The danger is (4) SOUPER STONEHENGE. He was improving well this year and then he ran into Mischevious Alex. No Alex in here and Casse switches to Jr. Expecting a big run from this guy today. (2) AMERICAN POWER is the 7F specialist that has speed and a nose for the wire. If they leave him alone, he’ll prove tough to reel in.

$7.00 WPS 4 Cost: $21.00

$3.00 Ex 1,4 w/ 1,2,4,7 Cost: $18.00

Race 8:

We’re sprinting on the turf. Brown has three entered with two making their 2021 debut. I prefer (6) FRONT RUN THE FED. Back to back bullets should have this guy on his toes. The 7F feels like that’s what he wants and he sports a couple of wins on this course. Mott has started the year off strong and brings over (3) CASA CREED. I like the cut back to 7F for this guy and exits a G1 last month. He’s run well on this course and sports a fast work for this. An interesting alternative is other Brown that may get lost in the betting. (7) SEISMIC WAVE has been going long for most of his career and cuts back here. He worked together with The Fed and stuck right with him. He closed fast last June when he tried this distance and the wide turns will help gather momentum to do it again.

$7.00 WPS 6 Cost: $21.00

$3.00 Ex 6,7 w/ 2,3,6,7 Cost: $18.00

Race 9

It’s hard to back most of these runners as they just don’t like to win. We’ll spread out to close out this late Pk3. (4) STRONG DESIRE adds L1 and gets Jose. That’s usually enough. Maybe the 0-38 (6) FREUDIAN ANALYST found the right field finally? His best race came on this course last October and he ran ok first time on turf this year. Anything’s possible. I’ll try (8) RATCHET in this spot. He breaks outside which may help him get to the front without any traffic. His debut last June here was with a salty group and he closed ok. Last time he was with open company and now moves back in against state breds. (10) PAYNT THE EDGES gets an upgrade with Cancel and tries turf for the first time. His can stalk or go.

$7.00 WPS 8 Cost: $21.00

$3.00 Ex 8,10 w/ 4,6,8,10 Cost: $18.00
