Closing day at Belmont and we are going to play a pair of pick 3 plays that cover the PK6 sequence. I will be covering races 4-6, and Big Pete will be covering races 7-9. We also will have our "Play of the Day" on a race that we would like to try and maximize on. Little Pete's $1.00 Spot Pick 3:

R4: 1, 3, 9, 10

R5: 2, 4, 7

R6: 3, 4, 9, 12

Cost: $48.00

Big Pete's $1.00 Late Pick 3:

R7: 1, 4, 6

R8: 3, 4, 8, 9

R9: 3, 4, 6, 7

Cost: $48.00

Little Pete's "Play of the Day":

Race 1:

I am going to try and improve the bankroll early on the card and try and take down the first race. I like (7) Ghost Stalker in here to be at a relatively nice price and improve from first time out. I think this field is very beatable and an improved trip by Saez should make this horse a contender.

$7.00 WPS 7 Cost: $21.00

Big Pete's "Play of the Day":

Race 2:

Clement sends out two and both look strong. I’ll use (2) PANDAMOM on top to take them all the way. She moves back to the Belmont lawn where she broke her maiden. I don’t see much speed in here so if Jr can save some in the tank, the won’t catch her.

I’ll use her with (1) Corey Scores and likely favorite (9) Timeless Journey

$10.00 WPS 2 Cost: $30.00

$3.00 Ex Box 1,2,9 Cost: $18.00

Little Pete's Spot Pick 3:

Race 4:

We will start the ticket off with four horses in here. My top selection is going to be a forwardly ran race by (9) Charlotte Webley. I think that Irad will try and find early position with this horse and have plenty of horse left late to win this one. I also like the horse to her outside in (10) Handle With Care. I think that this horse will also be sent to the front early and I love that spot in these sprints. My two closers are going to be (1) La Negrita and (3) Cruising Strong. I think that both of these horses will be sitting behind the early pace and if the horses up front tire out, then I think these two horses will be the strongest late.

$3.00 WPS 9 Cost: $9.00

$2.00 Ex 1,9 w/ 1,3,9,10 Cost: $12.00

Race 5:

This looks to be (4) Work Out's race to lose and I do not see this horse losing this one, but for some security I will be including two others. (2) Polpis is a firster in here that interests me who has been training lights out. This horse could be ready to roll first time out with Irad and I think a safe play to include. (7) Brew Pub is the final play here who has experience with the distance and should improve from previous starts.

$5.00 WIN 4 Cost: $5.00

$4.00 Ex 4 w/ 2,7 Cost: $8.00

Race 6:

I am closing this ticket with four in here. My top selection is going to be (4) Stanhope who I really like in here to be sent to the early lead and not look back. Castellano knows how to win when he has the horse underneath him and I do not expect him to mess around with this field. (3) Barleewon is another play in here for me who will be closing late against the early pace. I think having the inside position will help this horse find his positioning early and be able to save ground throughout. (9) One Eyed Jack has the Uncle Mo pedigree and I love themove to grass here for this horse. I am expecting a big run from this horse with Irad aboard. My last play will be (12) Reckless Spirit who has the aggressive Saez aboard and I think he will try and win this one by sending his horse to the early lead. I like when jockeys try and win races in the lead then sitting behind and timing a late run.

$3.00 WPS 4 Cost: $9.00

$2.00 Ex 4,9 w/ 3,4,9,12 Cost: $12.00

Big Pete's Late Pick 3:

Race 7:

The key is 7F. I only see two that really want to go that extra furlong. (4) HONOR WAY is best in here at this distance. She’ll sit behind, then angle out for the stretch run. Jose would be 4 for 4 on this mare if it weren’t for Frank’s Rockette. (6) NEVER ENOUGH TIME now benefits from the scratch of Alisio. She has speed and Saez in her corner. If Luis can give her a rest early, she will be dangerous. The other closer I want is

(1) BRONX BEAUTY. Just missed catching Never Enough Time last time but the extra distance and Manny should make the difference.

$7.00 WPS 4 Cost: $21.00

$3.00 Ex 1,4 w/ 1,2,4,6 Cost: $18.00

Race 8:

(8) FLUFFY SOCKS made it look easy last time closing into a slow pace. Similar run will make her tough in here. The other Brown, (4) INGRASSIA closed well but the winner, Aunt Pearl, forgot to stop posting a stakes record in the process. Both look logical and we’ll use, but I can’t pass on 15:1 ML (3) ZEYARAAT. Fluffy beat her last time with a perfect trip. Zeyaraat had a lot of trouble through the lane and still managed to get within 3 lengths. A clean trip from Carmouche makes this outcome much closer than last. Similar can be said about (9) GOLDEN VOICE. She too exits the same race and Maker gives Manny the keys.

$7.00 WPS 3 Cost: $21.00

$3.00 Ex 3,4 w/ 3,4,8,9 Cost: $18.00

Race 9:

I like the cut back to 6F for (6) MISS JIMMY. There seems to be plenty of speed outside to set up her closing kick. Luzzi gets his 1st win of the meet on the last race of the meet and the whole jockey colony may be in on it as everyone showed up here for some reason. (4) BANKERS DAUGHTER faced winners for the first time and almost got it done. A Re-Pete gets it done here. (7) IMPAZIBLE DONNA ran the fastest of the bunch last time. Runner up, WASP. jogged in her return race. She looks strong here. (3) CITY TEMPER moves back to the dirt where she belongs. I’ll include.

$7.00 WPS 6 Cost: $21.00

$3.00 Ex 6,7 w/ 3,4,6,7 Cost: $18.00
