Sunday racing at Belmont and we looking to take down a pair of pick 3 plays. I will be focused in on races 5-7, while Big Pete will be focused in on races 8-10. We also will have our "Play of the Day" on a race we think we can take advantage of some nice payouts. Big Pete's $1.00 Late Pick 3:

Little Pete's "Play of the Day":
Race 3:
(4) Graceful Princess found her footing against similar company last time out at this distance and I expect more of the same. This horse will be able to win in multiple ways in this one and I like the versatility. Jose Ortiz will have this horse forwardly placed and will be able to wire the field or close strongly to take this one. Really like this horse in this spot.
$7.00 WPS 4 Cost: $21.00
Big Pete's "Play of the Day":
Race 4:
On odd group of claimers entered here and all of them seem to have issues. Trainers are looking to unload for the winter. The one in here that I’ll focus on is (9) LUCKY RAMSEY. He left this circuit in Feb and had a great year with 3 wins and 3 seconds. Now heads east and may have found the right group. He’ll likely set up camp mid pack and wait for Cancel’s signal. We’ll take the 3:1 ML.
$10.00 WPS 9 Cost: $30.00
I’ll use him with (4) Catch A Cab and (5) Noble Thought underneath.
Little Pete's Spot Pick 3:
Race 5:
I landed on (6) Macho Jack as my top pick in here at a price. I love the form this horse is in and think the stretch out will be beneficial. This horse should take well to this class jump and be a relatively nice price. (9) Advance Notice had a fantastic debut and looks to parlay that performance in to today's race; will be on my ticket. (1/1A) will also make my ticket here because I really like (1A) Sneakiness. This horse will be forwardly placed and that is the place to be in this mile race. My last play will be (3) Kumar who has run back to back good races on dirt and will be able to sit behind some early pace. This should allow him a nice stretch drive to compete for a win in here.
$3.00 WPS 6 Cost: $9.00
$2.00 Ex 1,6 w/ 1,3,6,9 Cost: $12.00
Race 6:
I really like (12) Astoria Kitten in this spot to find the early lead and not look back. She has run against better and has been caught late. I think she will be able to hold off her foes in here and hit the wire first. Just in case I am wrong (rarely am) I will include some horses that will be running well late. (1) Fresco is the horse I want closing strongly late. Cancel should be able to position this horse in a stalking position right from the gate and have a fresh horse late. (7) Crescent Lady is another closer I like in here to find her footing late on a firm track and be a handful. (10) Data Analytics ran a big race on grass last time out in maiden company and I expect a big ride from her against winners, so will include.
$3.00 WPS 12 Cost: $9.00
$2.00 Ex 1,12 w/ 1,7,10,12 Cost: $12.00
Race 7:
We scratched down to five horses in the Gr.2 Miss Grillo and I am taking four of these horses to close my ticket. I really like (8) Plum Ali to stay undefeated in here and keep improving each time out, but there are some good horses in here. (4) Caldee will improve second time out on grass and will be charging late to try and take this one. (5) Director's Cut is a closer in here that I really like in here. I think we will get a decent price on her and she will continue to show improvement. (9) Editor at Large has a red hot Manny Franco aboard and I think this young Chad Brown horse will be a strong contender in here.
$3.00 WPS 8 Cost: $9.00
$2.00 Ex 4,8 w/ 4,5,8,9 Cost: $12.00
Big Pete's Late Pick 3:
Race 8:
The G2 Beldame is void of the two stars in this division but we get three good ones going at it. You can try with a short bankroll today and single (2) DUNBAR ROAD. She’s been dominate in both her 2020 starts and hasn’t lost on Big Sandy. She’ll be short odds but a worthy favorite. The one I’m interested in is the rail filly (1) LETRUSKA. It’s an acid test for her today, but this gal is the possible lone speed. Carmouche will certainly try to slow them down in hopes of saving her energy for late. If Nonna goes with Letruska, it should set up a stretch dual for the favorite and (4) POINT OF HONOR. They were one/two in last years Alabama and poised to finish that way today. Honor has faced three or four Mares this year that would be the favorite if they showed up for this. She’ll give Dunbar a run for the money if everyone brings their A game.
$10.00 WPS 4 Cost: $30.00
$3.00 Ex 2,4 w/ 1,2,4 Cost: $12.00
Race 9:
We’ll use four in here as this G3 Sprint has many contenders. Fav (5) ARCHIDUST has done nothing wrong this year and comes in with back to back wins. He’ll likely stalk and come late. He may be too good for these so we’ll include. I am interested in (4) WET YOUR WHISTLE. He’s a G1 winner that’s faced better sprinters all last year. I’m drawing a line through his last as he was compromised early. Quietly, picks up Jose for this as we may get all of the 10:1 ML here. I’m all in here. (1) CHEWING GUM has running lines in his pp’s that make him a strong win candidate too. But Mott is struggling right now and he has zero speed. He’ll come late but will most likely have to pass them all. (8) BATTLE STATION has found a home on the turf. A solid win at the Spa last time and comes in here in career form. I wouldn’t leave off the ticket.
$7.00 WPS 4 Cost: $21.00
$3.00 Ex 4,5 w/ 1,4,5,8 Cost: $18.00
Race 10:
Davis had a choice here and choose (12) COTTON. This Twirling Candy now moves to the turf after two solid dirt tries. Should get a clear run from his outside post and gets to go a little farther today. (2) DATA DEAL is the “other” Davis but now picks up the hot Lezcano. Unless a firster goes, he may have the front all to himself. That’s always dangerous. (8) DANZIGWITHTHESTARS just missed hitting the board a big odds last time. He wants more ground so he can sneak into the exacta at decent odds. (9) SANDER BANKER took some money in his debut but didn’t care for the dirt. Now the connections switch him to the turf. I think he can “Handal” it.
