We have some racing at Belmont today and we are looking to cash in a pair of pick 3 tickets. I will be focusing in on races 4-6, and Big Pete will be focusing in on races 7-9. We also will be including our "Play of the Day" for a race we believe we can maximize a play on. Make sure to subscribe to the newsletter to receive notification of new blog posts and a weekly blog. GOOD LUCK.

R4: 2, 3, 5
R5: 4, 6, 7
R6: 8, 13, 15, 16
Cost: $36.00
Big Pete's $1.00 Late Pick 3:
R7: 1, 2, 5, 7
R8: 2, 5, 6
R9: 1, 4, 7, 9
Cost: $48.00
Little Pete's "Play of the Day":
Race 4:
I really like (3) Invaluable to make it two in a row in this one. I am going to play this horse on top in a WPS and heavier exacta to try and improve the bankroll. As stated below, I think this horse will be able to run on throughout this race and Jose Ortiz should be able to get this one.
$7.00 WPS 3 Cost: $21.00
$4.00 Ex 3 w/ 2,5 Cost: $8.00
Big Pete's "Play of the Day":
Race 1:
(10) BIG TIME LADY has been looking for turf all along but the slop will have to do. This Big Brown won’t mind the off or the 8.5F today. Has the option to go early or stalk. Luis will make the right decision and get this gal home. I’ll look for two firsters to close late underneath.
$10.00 WPS 10 Cost: $30.00
I’ll use her with (4) Pop The Bubbly and (5) Frost Me
Little Pete's Spot Pick 3:
Race 4:
I am going to go in heavy on (3) Invaluable in this one. I like Jose Ortiz aboard in this one to forwardly place this horse and have enough under him late to pass the early pace. I will also be including (5) Ava's K's Girl who should like a little moisture in the ground and be able to sustain a good run against this field. Also, I like (2) Quasar to sustain a big run late down the stretch to compete for this one.
$5.00 WPS 3 Cost: $15.00
$5.00 Ex 3 w/ 2,5 Cost: $10.00
$2.00 Ex 2,5 w/ 2,3,5 Cost: $8.00
Race 5:
I am going to try and beat the morning line favorite in here, (3) Flowers For Lisa. I think this horse has some early pace to his inside that will expose him late to a closer. (7) Scarf it Down is coming in good form and getting back to the track and distance he has shown the best ability on. I think this horse has a big chance in this level. (6) Creative Style is a closer in here that will be able to sit behind the early pace and have a great chance at closing in for this one. (4) Playwright is my last play in here who I think will enjoy a bit of moisture in the ground and run a big one in here.
$3.00 WPS 7 Cost: $9.00
$2.00 Ex Box 4,6,7 Cost: $12.00
Race 6:
With the move off of turf, the outside horses look very dangerous in here. (16) Grade Therapy ran a big race first time out on a sloppy track and should follow up that performance with a big one here and a must on the ticket. (15) Buffet is another horse in here who I like. The move to Saez will be a big move in here to help this horse find the front early. That is the place to be and could run on with this one. (13) Tiny Magoo is a closer in here that I like getting a wet track. This horse will be sitting behind the early pace and be able to run on late. (8) GhostGhostGhost is my last play here from the Asmussen barn dropping in with a tag. I think this horse runs an improved race here and could be there late with Irad aboard.
$3.00 WPS 16 Cost: $9.00
$2.00 Ex 15,16 w/ 8,13,15,16 Cost: $12.00
Big Pete's Late Pick 3:
Race 7:
(2) TIZ HE THE ONE has some running lines that make him tough in here. Rice saw something and claimed him and I don’t think he cared for the Spa dirt. Two bullet works and he looks primed for a good showing today. (7) AMERICAN POWER has many quality horses in his running lines, so he’s faced better through his career. His two June races on Big Sandy would make him very competitive today. He also attracts Irad for this. (5) MAD MUNNYS seems to like the off going as he has 2 wins on it.
$7.00 WPS 2 Cost: $21.00
$3.00 Ex 2,7 w/ 1,2,5,7 Cost: $18.00
Race 8:
(2) BINKSTER is the deserving favorite as he gave Yaupon and Stan The Man a run for their money. Clean trip will most likely do it for this guy. We’ll use but give (6) COST BASIS a shot off the layoff. His works are improving every week and Brown cuts him back to 6F. Not an easy task first time against his elders but many of these have a tough time winning races. I think he found the right field. (5) MORNING BREEZE can pass the tiring runners late to juice up the exacta. Maybe the slop can put him in the winners circle.
$7.00 WPS 6 Cost: $21.00
$3.00 Ex 2,6 w/ 2,5,6 Cost: $12.00
Race 9:
I’ll take a shot with (9) LARCENY to try and wire this bunch. Showed speed at the Spa in his last two but the 7F may have been too far. Now he gets the aggressive Carmouche so look for these two to spurt away coming into the lane and try to hold on. (4) DR. DEVERA’S WAY is taking a serious drop so it’s now or never for this gelding. If he’s not damaged goods, he wins this. The drop is scary though. (7) BEACH FRONT looks well spotted here as he has a couple of 2nd and a 3rd when facing this level. Manny staying with him is a good sign. (1) AFTER PROM PARTY is fresh off his maiden win but his time was faster than most of these can run. Rosario returns so maybe they figured it out.
