Eight races after a small hiatis on this Wednesday of racing at the Big A. I will be condensing my plays down to just the numbers and attacking the early double. (Races 1 & 2) and a spot pick 3 (Races 3-5). Big Pete will attack his "Play of the Day" and the late pick 3 (Races 6-8). We appreciate you taking a look at this write-up and GOOD LUCK.

Big Pete's "Play of the Day":

Race 3:

(4) BERNING BEAUTY picks up Prat after a troubled trip may have cost him a better placing. This Beauty can run all day and figures to get a perfect trip behind some speed up front.

I’ll use (2) Concorde Spirit and (6) Mad banker underneath for the exacta.

We’ll also use (4) Berning Beauty in R3 and try to cash in on a Daily Double.

(1) Locke And Key and (6) Emirates Road in the 4th.

Big Pete's Late Pick 3:

Race 6:

(1) DOT'S DOLLAR has speed if he's allowed to use it for his advantage. He needs to control up front to have a shot. If others join in, he's in trouble. That bring us to the likley closers. Both (6) BRAVE BUCK and (8) TIZMARKUS wiil like the pace to heat up. They have a closing kick that mke them dangerous through the lane. I'll lean more on Tiz dropping to this level for the first time. .

Race 7:

(6) KINETIC and (4) DONEGAL SURGES have a slight edge over this group. Both have stakes experience and their barns are clicking right now. The switch to Prat on Kinetic is the desiding factor. The wise pick is the other major barn that keeps winning. (3) YO DADDY makes his long awaited return for Rice. If this guy is 80% back, he too will be tough. Four workouts in January is encouraging for his return.

Race 8:

(3) MANHATTAN CHROME has a bullet work and an aggressive jock to use it. Cox can have them ready first time out. Weaver has two entered. One could be the rabbit and the other, (12) TWENTY ONE RED needs that. He adds L1 and cuts backs to 6.5F and will be coming late. (14) B THEDONALD is Manny's choice as this guy stumbled out of the gate in his debut. He may be closer today which makes him tough.
