Thursday at Aqueduct and we have the entire card covered. I will be condensing my plays to just including the horses each race that I will be including. I will be playing the early double (Races 1 & 2) and a spot pick 3 (Races 4-6). Big Pete will have his full breakdown on his "Play of the Day" and the late pick 3 (Races 7-9). R2: 1, 4, 8 Cost: $ 18.00

Little Pete's $ 1.00 Spot Pick 3:

R4: 1, 4, 5

R5: 1, 7 ,11, 12

R6: 1, 7 Cost: $ 24.00

Big Pete's $ 1.00 Late Pick 3:

R7: 5, 7, 8, 9

R8: 4, 6 ,8, 11

R9: 1, 9, 10 Cost: $ 48.00

Big Pete's "Play of the Day":

Race 3:

(7) NICKY THE VEST has been away for most of the year but was dominate before the break. He faces older company today but all of them have had many chances at this level yet here they are again. I’ll take the short price and bank on he’s ready to roll. Two big bullets jump off the page and regular rider is up.

I’ll look for both (5) Durkin’s Call or (8) Troubleshooter to come late underneath

Big Pete's Late Pick 3:

Race 7:

(5) DANCING BUCK has the speed to control this as he shortens up to the 6F. If left alone, he will be tough. (7) SHIRAZ moves back in against NY Breds and has won at this level with Saez. They are a major player today. I’ll try to beat them both with (8) VALMONT. He too has been tackling open company and finished ahead of Buck when they squared off back in September. I’m not crazy about the jockey assignment but we are sure to get decent odds because of that. (9) ON THE COUCH is my ridiculous play for today. He has a win on this course and wasn’t far from Valmont back in June. This race looks wide open and the 15:1 ML would be a good start to this late pick 3.

Race 8:

Brown is usually tough in these spots and calls on Irad to get it done with (8) GRAPE NUTS WARRIOR. He’s been consistent hitting the board but they may be getting a little impatient with this guy. I’m guessing he’ll bring his A game today. I want the “other” Ortiz with (4) LORD FLINTSHIRE. He moves back in against fellow NY Breds after some nice runs against better. The last time these two hooked up, they scored a nice blowout win. (11) TACKLE is my sleeper in here. He has come on strong in his last two and is holding form. (6) AGENT CREED finished right behind Grape Nuts and he was moving well in the stretch before steadying slightly.

Race 9:

We’ll try to close it out with just three in the nightcap. (9) JUGGLER drops in for a tag and cuts back a little. Two strong angles to like and will likely take the most money in here. I want to try and catch him with two that exit the same race back in October. Noda seems to be heating up, so (10) KONG LOVES A FIGHT figures to be well meant 2nd time out. Irad takes the call and Kong sports a bullet for this last week. (1) EL VEINTICUATRO closed to get 3rd in that race, then was left with a lot to do after a bad break next out. Manny returns for Rudy so I’m guessing this guy is live.
