Opening day at Aqueduct and we have the entire card covered. I will be condensing my plays to just including the horses each race that I will be including. I will be playing the early double (Races 1 & 2) and a spot pick 3 (Races 4-6). Big Pete will have his full breakdown on his "Play of the Day" and the late pick 3 (Races 7-9). Big Pete's "Play of the Day":

Race 3:

(9) TASS drops in for a tag as Martin looks to unload this 5yr old mare for the winter. I’m guessing he has her crank for her going away party. Lezcano jumps aboard as I expect his win totals to increase as the weather gets cold and mounts pick up.

I’ll look for both (1) Flashing Red or (2) Blue Atlas to come late underneath

Big Pete's Late Pick 3:

Race 7:

I’m going to try to win this one on the front end. (1) ONE WHIRLWIND RIDE has the rail and some speed so the slight cutback to 6F, maybe he can hold on if left alone. Saez may have something else in mind with (3) MR FANTASY. With a strong bullet last week, this guy might come out firing after some time off. His maiden win here in Feb will make this guy tough to beat in here. If either one gets loose, the others may have trouble catching them. BUT, is they both decide to throw down the gauntlet, (8) REPO ROCKS will reap the benefits. He usually shows up late so if the boys get a little tired, he will go on by for the win.

Race 8:

(1) ST. JOE LOUIS will be the horse to beat. He lost the bob at this level up north and figures to be right there again. I will try to beat him with (7) SPACE LAUNCH. He couldn’t get there last time but lugged in through the stretch. If Clement can straighten him out, he will be the danger. (3) HIDDEN ENEMY just missed in that same race and will likely get first run again. The extra distance will help this Galileo. (8) REGAL SPEAKER has picked it up lately against NY Breds. Gets an acid test today against open company.

Race 9:

She just broke her maiden but (4) LEMON TAFFY always seems to run for Saez hitting the board in all three of their runs. They try two turns today. (2) KEMBA will be my pick as she drops several spots. Davis lands here as they recorded her best race the last time they hooked up in December. (11) PERHAPS TONIGHT and Johnny V drops a little. They didn’t get away too cleanly at the Spa and are worth another shot against this suspect bunch. (9) POP THE BUBBLY has adapted to the turf nicely posting her best two races of her short career. She looks to be the filly to beat today.
