Eight races on this calm before the storm Thursday of racing at the Big A. I will be condensing my plays down to just the numbers and attacking the early double starting in R2 (Races 1 & 2) and a spot pick 3 (Races 3-5). Big Pete will attack his "Play of the Day" and the late pick 3 (Races 6-8). We appreciate you taking a look at this write-up and GOOD LUCK.

Big Pete's "Play of the Day":
Race 3:
(2) LOU makes his two turn debut and is pedigree suggests that it's what he should do. The inside draw and the aggressive jock works in his favor as they will establish a nice cozy spot and save ground. There's very little speed in here so the distance will become the deciding factor. Whoever can last has the advantage.
I’ll use (4) Baron Of Sealand and (6) Adventurist underneath for the exacta.

We’ll also use (2) Lou in R3 and try to cash in on a Daily Double.

Big Pete's Late Pick 3:
Race 6:
(4) VINO FRIZZANTE will get a lot of attention off the Rice claim. They drop her a few levels though. She may have found the right group though and is a must use for me. I'll try to to beat her with another mare dropping in class too. (2) SAUCY SIX Is the one I want. She has the highest last out speed figure when facing better and stretches out a little bit. With not a lot of speed signed on, they may choose to keep her close today and make that late run.

Race 7:
(6) THE TOP CANNON and (1) SCULCOS FOLLY may turn this into a match race. Both want the lead and either can control if they break clean. Cox saw something in Cannon so I'll lean a little more on him.

Race 8:
(8) CUPID'S HEART has speed to be a factor. She comes out of the Bay Shore and faces an easier group. (5) WITH THE ANGELS also wants part of the pace. Both may be a problem for each other so I'll look for a stalker and closer to come and get them. (4) RELIABLE LADY will get the first jump. If the top two get tired, she picks them up turning for home. She'll need to hold off (1) ALL CLASS for the money though. She joins a new barn and has some speed figures that top this group. If Dutrow can find that figure, she will be tough.
