We have a chilly afternoon of racing at Aqueduct, but we are locked in to cashing some tickets. I will be looking to take down the early double (Races 1-2) and a middle pick 3 ( Races 4-6 ). Big Pete will have his full

breakdown on his "Play of the Day" and try to cash another late pick 3 (Races 7-9). We appreciate you taking a look at this write-up and GOOD LUCK.

Little Pete's $2.00 Early Double:

R1: 1, 5

R2: 2, 4, 6
Cost: $12.00

Little Pete's $ 1.00 Spot Pick 3:

R4: 1, 2, 5, 6

R5: 2, 5, 6, 7

R6: 2, 5, 6 Cost: $48.00

Big Pete's $ 1.00 Late Pick 3:

R7: 3, 6, 8

R8: 3, 5, 9, 11

R9: 3, 5, 7, 9 Cost: $ 48.00

Little Pete's Early Double:

Race 1:

With a race void of speed, we need to take the 1/1 morning line favorite in (1) Wicked Happy. Eric should be able to navigate to the front early and without a challenge early then this horse will have a fresh tank and a head start on the field late. The horse I will be including for coverage is the firster (5) Don't Be Cheeky. I like the workouts coming in and I think this horse will show up well down the stretch.

$2.00 Ex 1,5 w/ ALL Cost: $20.00

Race 2:

Three headed monster in here with myself leaning on (6) Mr. Buckley. I like the class relief and this horse should be able to handle the speed in here. (2) B C Glory Days gets the weight relief and the class relief. This horse should be able to find the rail early and I think that makes the difference late. (4) Got the Gold is my last play who should be sitting right behind the pace and if there is an early pace battle, then this horse benefits the most late.

$3.00 Ex Box 2,4,6 Cost: $18.00

Big Pete's "Play of the Day":

Race 3:

Happy Farm may have lost a step or two and probably needs the lead to win today. With Aristocratic in, that will be a tough ask. I’ll take the stalker, (5) FREE ENTERPRISE, to bring his A game and take over through the stretch. A strong bullet last week indicates that the brief vacation is over and it’s time to get back to work. The value may come from the rail runner if the two speeds hook up.

$ 7.00 WPS 5 Cost $ 21.00

$ 3.00 Ex Box 1, 3, 5 Cost $ 18.00

Little Pete's Spot Pick 3:

Race 4:

Rob Atras has two in here that are must plays in (1) Infeasible and (6) Eddie the Great. I also like (2) Lucky Macho Man to improve second time out with the post position and the addition of blinkers. My last inclusion will be(5) Wickosity who closed extremely well against an extremely slow speed figure race and is coming into this one well poised to run a big one.

$3.00 WPS 6 Cost: $9.00

$2.00 Ex 1,6 w/ 1,2,5,6 Cost: $12.00

$1.00 Ex 2,5 w/ 1,2,5,6 Cost: $6.00

Race 5:

(7) Saratoga Beauty is another Rob Atras horse that looks great in here and is a threat to wire the field. (6) Spun D'Etat will not allow this horse to get the lead too easily from the gate and I think is in good enough form to run a big race late. (2) Awesome Indra switches to the Handal barn and attracts Davis again. They teamed up two back against weaker but has maintained good form all year. (5) Miss Peppina is coming into this one with two impressive wins at this level and I think has a nice performance against a better field.

$3.00 WPS 2 Cost: $9.00

$2.00 Ex 2,7 w/ 2,5,6,7 Cost: $12.00

$1.00 Ex 5,6 w/ 2,5,6,7 Cost: $6.00

Race 6:

(2) Flying with Angels is my top pick in here to the inside and being able to find the lane late to run a huge race in here. The workouts coming in make me believe that this horse is in very good form and the inside post will be a huge boost in here. (5) Lucky Brody is going to be coming strong late as well and the trip will matter in this one, so going to include the closer. (6) MidaswellRun is my last play on the lead early and will look to try and wire this lower level field.

$3.00 WPS 2 Cost: $9.00

$2.00 Ex Box 2,5,6 Cost: $12.00

Big Pete's Late Pick 3:

Race 7:

There is plenty of speed signed on so I’ll look for stalkers and closers to pick up the pieces late. The first to move on the leaders should be (6) PRINCE JAMES. He moves to the Atras barn and gets Davis. He beat up NW3L claimers last time but still is moving strong in the morning. (8) SECRET RULES probably needed his last being out for many months. He ended up 2nd to a Re-Pete winner and now Mott brings in Carmouche. All systems go today. (3) SIBELIUS has the speed to be a factor here. He jumps up in class but with Repo and Sea coming out, the front may be a little more lonely for him. The slight cutback works in his favor.

$ 7.00 WPS 8 Cost $ 21.00

$ 3.00 Ex Box 3, 6, 8 Cost $ 18.00

Race 8:

Another race where speed is prominent and I’ll focus on the Mares that move late. (3) SECRET LOVE is coming off a layoff but is 5 out of 6 in the money for her career. Finally gets a dry track and I like the move to McCarthy. She’ll get first jump on the closer and may just forget to stop. (9) A BIT O’IRISH SASS is the one I fear the most. She cuts back and has faced slightly better. She’ll be just off the pace and glued to Secret Love and is Sassy enough to make a difference. Of the two closers, I prefer (5) BYHUBBYHELLOMONEY in this spot. He didn’t get away well last but managed to get 3rd against the grain that day. She’s been facing better Fillies and Mares and gets L1 again. (11) BETSY BLUE always fires but hasn’t been seen since the SPA. She figures to get a perfect set up so if she right, I like her chances.

.

$ 7.00 WPS 5 Cost $ 21.00

$ 3.00 Ex 5, 11 w/ 3, 5, 9, 11 Cost $ 18.00

Race 9:

There are two in here that I’m interested in but we’ll use two others for savors. (7) SUBIACO was on a roll until she tried to close from the parking lot last time. The rail was the place to be that day and she had no chance. Draw a line through that one and she looks like the horse to beat fresh off the Noda claim. Same can be said about the last race for (3) BEE BIT. She now moves to the Atras and picks up Davis. The slight drop doesn’t scare me as she raced at this level before and is properly placed. The 8 year old Mare is where I landed. (9) ANNIKA GOLD has quietly been getting herself back to her former life. She’s collected checks in most of her races in 2021 but her last race stands out. The rail was strong and she managed to close in while going wide. After a month off, she posted a big bullet gate work and looks primed for another run. I like that the same jock returns and they are clear of any trouble outside all of them. (5) SWEET MIA ran down a similar bunch and Baker continues to bring his runners ready. I’ll include.

$ 7.00 WPS 9 Cost $ 21.00

$ 3.00 Ex 7, 9 w/ 3, 5, 7, 9 Cost $ 18.00
