Nine races on this Sunday card at the Big A. I will be condensing my plays down to just the numbers and attacking the early double (Races 1 & 2) and a spot pick 3 (Races 4-6). Big Pete will attack his "Play of the Day" and the late pick 3 (Races 7-9). We appreciate you taking a look at this write-up and GOOD LUCK.

Big Pete's "Play of the Day":
Race 3:
There's a lot going on in this 3rd. Both Cox and Casse drop their runners in hopes of unloading. Hennig does the same with his and tries dirt for the first time. They seem desperate to move out some inventory for the winter. I can't let Rice go off at 12:1 ML as her (7) CAT FAST goes out 2nd time on this NY circuit with stable rider up. A bullet work for this and they cut back to 7F. This barn plays the claiming game well, and they seem well spotted against some suspect runners today.
I’ll use (2) Fateful Lightning and (5) Magnanimous Max underneath for the exacta.

We’ll also use (7) Cat Fast in R3 and try to cash in on a Daily Double.

Big Pete's Late Pick 3:
Race 7:
(6) SHADOW SURGE looms large in here and is a must-use. But I'm not convinced he'll like the extra distance, so we'll try to beat him. (5) PLATFORM picks up Carmouche and has a decent run going longer. I have to try (7) MIDDLE MARKET on the cut back to 7F. They have been long recently and on the turf. He ran well on the dirt a year ago, and they finally give him a chance at it again.

Race 8:
(1) FAST MARKET comes out of the G2 Sands Point with a nice finish that just missed. Now they add Prat, so she's a must-use and the filly to beat. (8) PEAK HYPE has done nothing wrong and continues to improve. Another must-use for me as this race goes through these two. I'll include a sleeper, using the front runner (5) PARADISE CITY. The course closes after today, and maybe it can carry this filly all the way.

Race 9:
(2) NOGUCHI took a ton of money the first time out for Rice and lost it at the break. He didn't run much after that, which is concerning, but he may have found the right field to still pull it off. (10) DR. INSEL has the speed to control. The outside draw doesn't help, but at 9F, he'll get a chance to clear early, and that would be the winning move if he can settle in up front. Both are a must-use, but I want to take a shot with another runner who exits the same race as the Doctor. Rudy is having a meet, and (7) ENDURING ANGEL ran a sneaky good race only 4 lengths behind. He gained experience, and this Blame will likely like the extra furlong. He'll be generous odds.
