Nine races on this football Sunday card at the Big A. I will be condensing my plays down to just the numbers and attacking the early double (Races 1 & 2) and a spot pick 3 (Races 4-6). Big Pete will attack his "Play of the Day" and the late pick 3 (Races 7-9). We appreciate you taking a look at this write-up and GOOD LUCK.

Big Pete's "Play of the Day":

Race 3:

These 10k claimers are tough to gauge sometimes as on any day, one can perk up and run a good one every now and then. Unfortunately, most of these are not showing signs of their old self. The 9year old, (4) BOLD ENDEAVOR has back to back races after the claim that jump off the page against this group. A good 2nd against slightly better, then dominating this level last time. He looks much better on paper then the rest and I won't try to beat him today. I'll look underneath for the value.

I’ll use (5) Six Kings and (6) Tibberius Mercurius underneath for the exacta.

We’ll also use (4) Bold Endeavor in R3 and try to cash in on a Daily Double.

(5) Blenheim Baby and (6) Bow To Clara in the 4th.

Big Pete's Late Pick 3:

Race 7:

(4) LET IT RIDE has some early foot that puts him up close to either stalk or go on. The jock will likely decide a few strides into the race. Most likely sit right behind and move forward late. The favorite, (8) EXPLORATION, draws nicely outside and figures a stalking position too. Manny will bite first unless a hole opens up for Let It Ride. I'll use both and throw in my sleeper (3) KAZ SUGAR BANK to come late passing them all through the lane. That extra furlong (7F), is the key in this one. Most in here just want 6F. I'll need the front runner to back up and that looks like what should happen.

Race 8:

(1) MAN IN FINANCE is the one to beat and a must use for me. He draws inside, has some speed and keeps improving each time out. The only negative is that speed will come from several in here. (4) YO BANANA BOY is the stalking type that will benefit from the early duals. He gets first jump on the closers. I'll need help from the track maintenance crew with my play in here. I need a fair track to give (8) BRACIOLE a fighting chance today. With speed present, This guy will come from far back a pick off the tiring runners up front. The race sets up perfectly for him and the forecast for rain will only help with Menifee underneath.

Race 9:

(5) LEADING ROLE has improved with his new barn and the third time should be the charm. (6) SHOOT THE NICKEL drops off the cliff to this 17k level as does (9) COME FULL CIRCLE. They both will enjoy the class relief and have several speed figures that win this. (8) DOOMED ran ok in his two dirt tries recently and is fresh off the claim with Manny returning. That's enough for me.
