Nine races on this chilly Saturday at the Big A. I will be condensing my plays down to just the numbers and attacking the early double (Races 1 & 2) and a spot pick 3 (Races 4-6). Big Pete will attack his "Play of the Day" and the late pick 3 (Races 7-9). We appreciate you taking a look at this write-up and GOOD LUCK.

Little Pete's $ 5.00 Early Double:

R1: 2, 6

R2: 4, 5 Cost: $ 20.00

Little Pete's $ 1.00 Spot Pick 3:

R4: 2, 3, 6

R5: 2, 4

R6: 1, 2, 3, 6 Cost: $ 24.00

Big Pete's $ 1.00 Late Pick 3:

R7: 2, 4, 5

R8: 1, 3, 4

R9: 5, 7, 8, 9 Cost: $ 36.00

Big Pete's "Play of the Day":

Race 3:

(3) HE'S GOT THIS closed well against similar when the track was not kind to outside closers. With two turns to navigate, he should save some ground throughout and then come running late. Both inside runners need the lead so the pace figures to be solid early. He goes out first time for his new connections but keeps his regular rider.

I’ll use (4) Centavo and (5) Texas Red Hot underneath for the exacta.

$ 7.00 WPS 3 Cost $ 21.00

$ 7.00 Ex 3 w/ 4, 5 Cost $ 14.00

We’ll also use (3) He's Got This in R3 and try to cash in on a Daily Double.

(2) Twenty Four Mamba and (6) Tuskegee Airman in the 4th.

$ 7.00 Daily Double 3 w/ 2, 6 Cost $ 14.00

Big Pete's Late Pick 3:

Race 7:

Both favorites, (2) EASY DECISION and (4) IGNITER will duke it out up front. Both have speed figures that top this group. If one can shake loose, they will be tough to run down. I'll include both but I see them pressuring each other to help set up for a closer. With a fair track, (6) BLUE FORTY ONE can bide his time early and sit chilly behind the two front runners. He closed well against Igniter last time on a track that you needed to be inside and close. He was neither that day. They may have brought him here with this race in mind as the Feb race was off a layoff and they've been training him steady at Aqueduct since.

$ 7.00 WPS 6 Cost $ 21.00

$ 3.00 Ex Box 2, 4, 6 Cost $ 18.00

Race 8:

(1) MALU is one of two from Rice that loom large here. She moves back in against NYbreds having already won at this level. She was on vacation for most of 25' and ran ok in her come back race in December. Then another 3 months off is the head scratcher. I'll play defensively, but I prefer the "other" Rice (4) SHE'S GRAND. Both starts here were solid and she has speed figures that match this group. She'll get first jump on her stablemate and try to hold her off. The sleeper for me is (3) LIKA ROLLING STONE. This 1M seems to be her best distance as she usually hits the board. They switch back to Elliot and there's no Bam's Bliss Kiss in here.

$ 7.00 WPS 3 Cost $ 21.00

$ 3.00 Ex Box 1, 3, 4 Cost $ 18.00

Race 9:

(8) HURRICANE KAZ has the speed to be dangerous. He showed it last time with L1 added. The instructions will be to go again. (5) LOVE COIN and (9) IRISH GOODBYE are two first timers from sharp barns. Both have the morning workout bullets and will be prepared first asking. I'll use both. I want to take a shot with Mott's runner (7) ARISTIDE MAILLOL. An ok debut where he didn't break that great and may have lost some ground. Once he settle, he ran on while being wide. Mott usually makes them better 2nd time out so I'm expecting some improvement and this outside draw can only help today.

$ 7.00 WPS 7 Cost $ 21.00

$ 3.00 Ex 7, 9 w/ 5, 7, 8, 9 Cost $ 18.00
