Ten races on Gotham Day at the Big A. I will be condensing my plays down to just the number and attacking the early double (Races 1 & 2) and a spot pick 3 (Races 5-7). Big Pete will attack his "Play of the Day" and the late pick 3 (Races 8-10). We appreciate you taking a look at this write-up and GOOD LUCK.

Race 3:

(6) REDWINEANDWHISKEY has the speed figures to run by these. There is plenty of speed signed on inside so the pace looks hot to me. Jamie can watch from the 2nd tier and gather momentum turning for home. They were against the bias earlier this month and will show a better kick today.

I’ll use (1) Queens Over Threes and (7) Howling Wind to complete the exacta.

Big Pete's Late Pick 3:

Race 8:

(3) PHILEAS FOGG figures to have the front and this race all to himself with Full Screen coming out. He's just a classier gelding than these and has been facing much better.

Race 9:

(4) DONEGAL SURGES has already beaten this level but was taken down. A similar effort should be enough again. The only danger is (3) DREAMLIKE who has quietly started to run to his breeding. At 6yrs old, he seems to have improved and will make the favorite earn it close to home.

Race 10:

(6) IRON HONOR is the one to beat. His maiden score was solid and Brown usually improves them each time out. With some speed to stalk, he looks solid for two in a row. His main danger, IMO, will come from the McPeek colt (5) RIGHT TO PARTY. He was beaten by the Honor sprinting but this guy needs more ground as he proved it last time. He needs to improve an that's what this outfit does.
