We have 11 races on this Cigar Mile Saturday at the Big A. I will be condensing my plays down to just the number and attacking the early double (Races 1 & 2) and a spot pick 3 (Races 6-8). Big Pete will attack two "Play of the Day" and the late pick 3 (Races 9-11); GOOD LUCK.

R11: 1, 2, 9 Cost: $ 30.00
Big Pete's "Play of the Day":
Race 3:
Pletcher has two entered. One with speed and the other the stalker. With other speeds signed on, I'll side with (6) BELIEVABLE to close in late. With Curlin in here blood, the race for her will start turning for home. Throw in Tapit underneath and this Gal can be special. Time will tell.

Race 5:
(3) ACOUSTIC AVE has put together a solid year where he's only missed the board in 1 out of ten starts. With the slight cut back to 6F and Jose back up, he looks poised for another big effort.He'll get the first jump on his stablemate and fight that one till the end.

Big Pete's Late Pick 3:
Race 9:
I'm spreading out here as this Remson looks wide open to me. (2) PALADIN has the strong connections that you just can't leave out. (2) TALKIN has a hot barn that hasn't lost this meet yet. Then there's Pletcher who throws in three, all with a good chance. (4) GRITTINESS, (6) COURTING, and (9) RENEGADE have a race that makes them the choice. I'll lean on JohnnyV as it seems he had the choice to pick which one he wants.

Race 10:
Cox is always tough in these big races and (7) BISHOPS BAY seems well meant here. A must-use for me as Prat stays here and keeps winning. I'll try to beat him though with (4) CRAZY MASON. Irad gets the call and will ride this guy for the first time. He has solid G1 races and they stretch him out to this 1M, which he should love. They will be flying late and Irad usually times them right.

Race 11:
(2) PARKER BOONE ships in with an impressive win at Parx. Now faces fellow NY Breds and is clearly the colt to beat. If we see his last race today, forget about it. I'll include some others in case he leaves his race in Philly. (1) CHUMMERS is battle-tested already, making up ground in a stakes race on the grass. If he can handle the dirt, he has a shot. (9) SUNDAY BOY looms large with a decent speed figure when he moved back to dirt. The blinkers may have helped, so we'll include here.
