Saturday card at Aqueduct looks fantastic with the four stake races and we have the entire card covered. I will be locked into the early double (Races 1 & 2) and a spot pick 3 (Races 5-7). R10: 3, 5 ,6, 7

Big Pete's Late Pick 3:
Race 1:
The horse I am going to rely on in here is going to be (1) Glen Echo. This firster has been showing speed in the morning and draws the inside post. I expect this horse to find the rail early and have a say late. (2) Never Change from the Pletcher barn gets Luis Saez aboard, so we know we are getting an aggressive ride. (4) Morello is an Asmussen firster that is going to show speed and could be a the cream of the crop. (5) Inevtabl Conection had a nice front running debut and should improve from that effort this time out; which makes him a play.
$3.00 WPS 1 Cost: $9.00
$2.00 Ex 1,4 w/ 1,2,4,5 Cost: $12.00
$1.00 Ex 2,5 w/ 1,2,4,5 Cost: $6.00
Race 2:
(1) Marvelous Maude is a horse that should benefit from some early speed and find the lane late to compete for the wire. (3) Timeless Journey is coming in strong to this one and should be forwardly placed in here to wait for the lane to open down the stretch. (6) Choose Happiness is coming in from a win and should be able to navigate a nice ride in here towards the front of the pack. My last play will be (8) Cara's Dreamer who is going to get an aggressive ride under Dylan Davis and could have the head start needed to run on with this one late.
$3.00 WPS 3 Cost: $9.00
$2.00 Ex 1,3 w/ 1,3,6,8 Cost: $12.00
$1.00 Ex 6,8 w/ 1,3,6,8 Cost: $6.00
Big Pete's "Play of the Day":
Race 3:
I tried to find an alternative to the favorite but I just can’t see it. (7) YARROW has improved cutting back and now shortens to 6F. I think Lezcano gets aggressive with him and makes his move sooner to run them off their feet. I’ll key on top and look for two others to come late for minor awards.
I’ll use with (2) Citizen K and (9) Dakota Dancer to close in late.
$ 7.00 WPS 7 Cost $ 21.00
$ 7.00 Ex 7 w/ 2, 9 Cost $ 14.00
Big Pete's "Play of the Day":
Race 4:
(9) Texas Swing got the jump on (3) ROYAL REALM and it made the difference. I think they can turn the table on him today. He’s fresh off the Schosberg claim after a short rest and McCarthy takes the mount. He’s a neck away from being 2 for 2 at this 1M distance with Trevor in the saddle.
I’ll use with (7) Wicked Indeed and (9) Texas Swing to rally for 2nd.
$ 7.00 WPS 3 Cost $ 21.00
$ 3.00 Ex Box 3, 7, 9 Cost $ 18.00
Little Pete's Spot Pick 3:
Race 5:
(3) Sport Model is going to be able to find the rail early and show off that late speed down the stretch. (4) Evvie Jets is going to be on the lead and look for a wire to wire effort and I trust Cancel. (8) Golden Point is going to be the strongest late and deserving favorite in here. We should expect this horse to run her best late and come in very strong.
$3.00 Ex Box 3,4,8 Cost: $18.00
Race 6:
(1) SplitSecondSonny is the entry I like in here to be sitting behind the pace and fanning out wide for a nice stretch drive. (5) Favor is a Pletcher favorite who will show speed throughout and may be too good. (6) Digital Asset is another firster that is impressive in the morning who I think has the speed translate into this one. (7) CharlotteSometimes is a horse that had a decent debut and should improve from that effort with the aggressive Dylan Davis getting the mount again.
$3.00 WPS 5 Cost: $9.00
$2.00 Ex 1,5 w/ 1,5,6,7 Cost: $12.00
$1.00 Ex 6,7 w/ 1,5,6,7 Cost: $6.00
Race 7:
(1) General Karen is the deserving favorite in here, but I think runs into a fresh (3) Sy Dog in here. I will include both with the expectation they run their race and will be the likely winner. (2) Geno is going to look to circle the field late and if we have an early speed battle, then we could get just that. (7) Maesta is a horse I really like in here as well. Cancel cost her a winning debut and has learned from that trip. We should expect this horse to be let loose late and be a horse flying down the lane.
$3.00 WPS 3 Cost: $9.00
$2.00 Ex 3,7 w/ 1,2,3,7 Cost: $12.00
$1.00 Ex 1,2 w/ 1,2,3,7 Cost: $6.00
Big Pete's Late Pick 3:
Race 8:
(3) SPEAKER’S CORNER figures to be odds on and I can’t argue. He was dominating in his last but that wasn’t the strongest group. If he runs the same number, he’ll be tough. The only other one I’ll use as a saver is (2) BOURBONIC. He has been tackling G1 runners and now gets a little breather. What stands out is that he’s 3 for 3 on the Aqueduct oval. Pletcher inserts a rabbit to soften up the favorite in hopes of this guy closing in late.
$ 7.00 Ex 3 w/ 2, 6 Cost $ 14.00
$ 3.00 Ex 2, 6 w/ 2, 3, 6 Cost $ 12.00
Race 9:
A wide open LI Stakes at 12F. (7) MUTAMAKINA just got up against her stable mate (4) LA DRAGONTEA last time up north and I expect them to give us a similar run. I’m more interested in (6) LUCK MONEY who almost ran down (1) SUMMER IN SARTOGA in the G3 at Keeneland. Summer got the jump on her in that one but a hungry McCarthy will keep an eye on Saez and try to run them down for the MONEY.
$ 7.00 WPS 6 Cost $ 21.00
$ 3.00 Ex 6, 7 w/ 1, 4, 6, 7 Cost $ 18.00
Race 10:
(7) VALUE PROPOSITION will take some action as he’s the horse to beat. Even the slight cutback to 6F looks manageable for this guy. He’ll have to reel in (3) ARREST ME RED who is firing on all cylinders. Paco will go and never look back. I’ll try to beat them both with last winner (6) TURNED ASIDE. He wasn’t quite himself this year and then woke up last time up north in a G2. Davis takes the mount as this American Pharoah looks to be sitting on a top performance for the Re-Pete. (5) PULSATE usually comes late for minor awards so we’ll include as well.
