Saturday card at Aqueduct looks good and we have the entire card covered. I will be condensing my plays to just including the horses each race that I will be including. I will be playing the early double (Races 1 & 2) and a spot pick 3 (Races 4-6). Big Pete will have his full breakdown on his "Play of the Day" and the late pick 3 (Races 7-9). We appreciate you taking a look at this write-up and GOOD LUCK.

Little Pete's $ 3.00 Early Double:

R1: 1, 3

R2: 6, 7, 10 Cost: $ 18.00

Little Pete's $ 1.00 Spot Pick 3:

R5: 3, 5, 7, 8

R6: 5, 7, 9, 13

R7: 1, 6 Cost: $ 32.00

Big Pete's $ 1.00 Late Pick 3:

R8: 4, 5

R9: 2, 3, 4, 8

R10: 1, 4 ,6, 7 Cost: $ 32.00

Big Pete's "Play of the Day":

Race 3:

With the main speed scratching, Baba could be dangerous on the front end and take lots of money. I’m ok with that as I don’t trust her. (1) BASTET may fly under the radar as this filly didn’t run at all last time with a rough start and was claimed none the less. Barker tries to sneak Saez up and drilled her two weeks ago in the morning. She hits the board 50% of the time and she responds well to the Aqueduct surface.

I’ll use with (6) Baba up front and (7) Rosey’s Peach to close in late.

$ 7.00 WPS 1 Cost $ 21.00

$ 7.00 Ex 1 w/ 6, 7 Cost $ 14.00

Race 4:

We’ll go with Saez back to back as he jumps off the rail runner and sticks with the English Channel filly (12) FREEDOM MACHINE. She was able to close into a slow pace against open claimers last time to get 2nd. Now she moves back in with fellow NY Breds. Her record isn’t pretty but she seems to be improving this Fall. Feels like now or never and the 8:1 ML is hard to pass up.

I’ll use with (1) Unicorn Sally and the other English Channel, (3) English Breeze to rally.

$ 7.00 WPS 12 Cost $ 21.00

$ 7.00 Ex 12 w/ 1, 3 Cost $ 14.00

Big Pete's Late Pick 3:

Race 8:

It’s (5) HAPPY MEDIUM’s race to lose. He blitz maidens last time and if he runs anything close to that, he’ll get his picture taken. There doesn’t appear to be other speeds in here so if Franco avoids any trouble from the gate, they will be difficult to beat. But, this is horse racing so anything can happen. I’ll use (4) RISK PROFILE as a savor. He beat Repo Rocks two back and we all saw what that one did on Thursday. If Happy doesn’t bring his A game, It’ll get a little Risky late.

$ 10.00 Ex 5 w/ 4 Cost $ 10.00

$ 7.00 Ex 4 w/ 5 Cost $ 7.00

Race 9:

I’m going against the two likely favorites and looking elsewhere. (3) RINALDI is the speed of the speeds. We’ll include incase the soft turf course isn’t kind the closers. Sometimes it’s just difficult to gain on the front runners with some give in the turf. (8) BREAKING THE RULES is very interesting. He’s been running with better company earlier this year and holding his own. Then took some time off and posted two solid runs recently. He’ll set up camp in the back of the pack and come with his run. I like both of Casse’s runners shipping in. (4) MARCH TO THE ARCH is getting more attention because he finished ahead of his stable mate in a G1. But I prefer the other, (2) OLYMPIC RUNNER in this spot. Had some trouble in that G1 but was only 4 lengths back and then used a G2 sprint as a public workout for this.

$ 7.00 WPS 2 Cost $ 21.00

$ 3.00 Ex 2, 8 w/ 2, 3, 4, 8 Cost $ 18.00

Race 10:

I’m not a fan of any of the fillies who have already run except (7) HALF BIRTHDAY. She showed some speed but I’ll lean on the first time starters to close out this late Pick 3. (1) UNBRIDLED’S REIGN finds Davis and both mom and dad were fast. (4) TAP THE HEART doesn’t need to be much from the Pletcher barn to tackle these. Irad sticking around is a positive sign. (6) MISS EMPIRE STATE ships in and brings her own jockey. If there’s any left over moisture, this Classic Empire may move up a few spots.

$ 7.00 WPS 1 Cost $ 21.00

$ 3.00 Ex 1, 4 w/ 1, 4, 6, 7 Cost $ 18.00
