Nine races on this Chilly Saturday at the Big A. I will be condensing my plays down to just the numbers and attacking the early double (Races 1 & 2) and a spot pick 3 (Races 4-6). Big Pete will attack his "Play of the Day" and the late pick 3 (Races 7-9). We appreciate you taking a look at this write-up and GOOD LUCK.

Big Pete's "Play of the Day":

Race 3:

Both Hello Beauty and (5) OFF SCRIPT have beaten each other and I'm expecting them to put on a show again. Breaking outside that rival, Off Script can target that one and stay clear of trouble. Franco may choose to go right to the front or stalk. Either way they want to pinned her rival down inside. Clear sailing when they turn for home will be the difference.

I’ll use (3) She's Grand and (4) Hello Beauty underneath for the exacta.

Big Pete's Late Pick 3:

Race 7:

(3) HE'S GOT THIS and (4) SKYLANDER will dominate the wagering. Skylander's speed figures are higher than anyone in here. He'll need to reel them in late. He's Got This will likely get first jump on him and will have to hold him off. My wise guy in here is (7) WHISKEY FRENS. He's been collecting checks out in FL and ships into NYRA for the winter. His last was promising with a solid 3rd place finish against the one above. There's a lack of speed in here and he will take full advantage of that and make the first move going into the turn.

Race 8:

(1) WEIGH THE RISKS is a possible single if you want to keep your investment low. She's been dominate in her last three and showing no signs of letting up. We'll use two others in case the two turns is not for her. (7) QUIETSIDE has a high speed figure on her resume' so maybe she can find that again. My sleeper is the Curlin Mare who may have found a new life with the switch to dirt. (8) CURLIN'S GIRL can run all day as Rice took over and brought her back to NY. Back to back wins on the new surface. This 9F is what will stand out the most against this bunch. 15:1 ML is too high to let go here.

Race 9:

(5) NO FILTER is lightly raced with one nice effort showing speed. Franco takes over 2nd time out and figures to improve this gelding or at least run back to his debut. That would make him tough in here. (6) ARMY PROUD has several decent races and lost to a nice first timer last time. He collects checks but the number of starts without a win yet keeps rising. I want to try a price in this finale. (1) INTO INSPIRATION has also had many chances but they were at the MSW level. They finally dropped him two back and he ran his best race yet. They got aggressive again and moved him up last time and paid the price. Now they drop again to give him a chance on or close to the lead.
