Nine races on this Saturday card at the Big A. I will be condensing my plays down to just the numbers and attacking the early double (Races 1 & 2) and a spot pick 3 (Races 4-6). Big Pete will attack his "Play of the Day" and the late pick 3 (Races 7-9). We appreciate you taking a look at this write-up and GOOD LUCK.

Big Pete's "Play of the Day":

Race 4:

Hot Currency got the best of (1) DANIELLE MARIE last time but Danielle adds L1 today. She got to within a neck of Currency before fading close to home. Maybe her breathing was an issue so the meds could help today. The slight cut back looms large too.

I’ll use (5) Hot Currency and (6) Pinky Brier underneath for the exacta.

We’ll also use (1) Danielle Marie in R4 and try to cash in on a Daily Double.

(3) Sagamore Mischief and (4) Jackson Heights in the 5th.

Big Pete's Late Pick 3:

Race 7:

(3) ICAN enters the Rice barn and has previous speed figures that match up well against this group. This barn improves their horses, so he fits well today. (1) AMY'S MUSIC exits the same race as ICAN and was a 1/2 length in front of that one. That was his first attempt on this circuit and now switches to the hot rider. I want a price in here. (7) SALMING shipped in last time and ran a decent 4th against similar. He didn't get away the best but still managed to collect a check while taking money that day at the windows. They stretch this Bernardini out again, and that's what he wants. The outside draw will be key here as he should be able to get away cleanly and run them down late.

Race 8:

(9) NINA KAY is a possible single IMO. She's been keeping strong company her whole career and showed she's back with a good try at 7F. Now they cut her back to her preferred distance. We'll use two others in case the time off comes back to haunt her. (5) LADY ANGELINA and (6) SUNSHINE LILLY both can stalk and come with a late kick. If Nina doesn't show up, either can take it late.

Race 9:

Keep an eye on Hot Currency in the 4th today. If she runs well, go to the bank and load up on (6) HIRE THE HAT. He closed to that one in his debut after a bad break and then just shut down late. They add L1 and now cut back to 6F. All systems go today. (3) SUGARTOWN SWEETIE has a bullet and attracts Carmouche. (9) TENACIOUS CHILD is a first-timer from Weaver, and Rice/Prat team up for another first-timer, (11) PRINCESS JANE.
