Saturday at Aqueduct and we have the entire card covered. We each will have a "Play of the Day" to start the day off and then I will be locked into a spot pick 3 (Races 4-6). Big Pete will be focused on the late pick 3 (Races 7-9). We appreciate you taking a look at this write-up and GOOD LUCK.

Little Pete's $ 1.00 Spot Pick 3:

R4: 1, 3, 5, 6

R5: 1, 3, 4, 7

R6: 3, 7, 9

Cost: $48.00

Big Pete's $ 1.00 Late Pick 3:

R7: 2, 5, 7

R8: 1, 2, 6, 7

R9: 2, 5, 6, 8

Cost: $ 48.00

Little Pete's "Play of the Day":

Race 1:

I am leaning on (4) Battalion in here with the significant class drop in here. I think that Lezcano will be aggressive enough to find a nice position around the turn and be able to let this horse run on with this one late. I will be including a couple of horses underneath to try and catch a nice exacta.

$5.00 WPS 4 Cost: $15.00

$3.00 Ex 4 w/ 2,5,6 Cost: $9.00

$1.00 Ex 2,5,6 w/ 2,4,5,6 Cost: $9.00

Race 2:

(1A) EUDAIMONIA will get overlooked in here. She was claimed two back and didn't get the best start from the gate first time out. With the Mission Impazible influence, the off track shouldn't matter and I'm guessing she shows speed today. Decent works for this and the outside draw may help getting away from the gate today.

$ 10.00 WPS 1 Cost $ 30.00

$ 3.00 Ex Box 1, 6, 7 Cost $ 18.00

Race 3:

(1) DREAM BIGGER was one of the better NY Bred sprinters back in 2020 but that didn’t carry over to 21’. He was claimed back in October and has run ok in his last two showing some signs of coming around facing much better. The connections are looking to unload as they drop to a soft spot and shorten up to 6F. I think we see a glimpse of his old self today which would be plenty enough to beat this group.

$ 10.00 WPS 1 Cost $ 30.00

$ 3.00 Ex Box 1, 2, 5 Cost $ 18.00

Little Pete's Spot Pick 3:

Race 4:

(1) Enter SandWoman is coming into this one with an impressive front running win and has the speed master, Kendrick Carmouche, aboard. (3) Cadeau De Paix is going to be able to sit behind the pace and Jose Ortiz will wait on the moment to strike. (5) Cazilda FortyTales is another speed horse in here that has been impressive on off tracks and will be a horse I just can't leave off of my ticket. (6) Violent Vixen is my last play who will be fanned out wide come stretch drive to compete for the wire first.

$3.00 WPS 3 Cost: $9.00

$2.00 Ex 3,6 w/ 1,3,5,6 Cost: $12.00

$1.00 Ex 1,5 w/ 1,3,5,6 Cost: $6.00

Race 5:

(1) Impressionist and (7) Relate are exiting the same race and both are must plays in here to improve from those impressive efforts. (3) Bustin Up is switching surfaces and should translate the speed to dirt. The sloppy surface will help this horse be able to sustain a front running effort and will be a dangerous horse throughout. My last play will be (4) The Institute is a horse that I think needed some time to train and find his footing. I will give the Jose Ortiz bump to this horse and expect a nice run in here.

$3.00 WPS 3 Cost: $9.00

$2.00 Ex 3,7 w/ 1,3,4,7 Cost: $12.00

$1.00 Ex 1,4 w/ 1,3,4,7 Cost: $6.00

Race 6:

(3) Summer Bourbon is going to be on the lead and coming in strong to this one; must play for me being a Linda Rice fresh off the claim. (7) Bourbon Mission is the other horse I like to complete the Bourbon exacta. I think that this horse will be able to handle the surface the best and makes him a threat throughout. (9) MissAlpha is my last play in here with Cancel looking to wait for the stretch drive to pass tiring horses. I think this horse gets a nice trip in here and that makes a difference late.

$3.00 WPS 3 Cost: $9.00

$2.00 Ex Box 3,7,9 Cost: $12.00

Big Pete's Late Pick 3:

Race 7:

(7) MONEY IN THE BANK likes to win. He rattled off five in a row before tasting defeat last time. I like that he breaks outside to stay clear of any trouble and there is some speed to target late. (2)BIG BOBBY is the one to beat. He looked home free last before Saratoga Pal came late to the scene. Jose will likely save some ground and tip out late. I want (5) BRONX BOMBER in this spot. He couldn’t stretch his legs through the stretch last time against some of these runners until it was too late. He seems to up his game on this Aqueduct track each year and he likes to hit the board. At 8:1 ML, I’m all in.

$ 7.00 WPS 5 Cost $ 21.00

$ 3.00 Ex Box 2, 5, 7 Cost $ 18.00

Race 8:

The newly turned 3yr old colts go at it in the Jerome. I like the two that are cutting back to this 1M distance after trying 9F. (6) COURVOISIER just held on when he shipped in for the score. Both his DEL races, at the shorter distance, were much better and I think he’ll return to those races with this one turn event. (7) MR JEFFERSON, Tommy to his friends, tried the G2 company last time and was competitive before that last furlong. The one turn will also help this Constitution colt as his regular rider flies in for the mount. His only race today. (2) UNBRIDLED BOMBER took a short break, then, returned to win his maiden. He’s firing bullets in the morning for this and won’t mind any left over moisture.

$ 7.00 WPS 7 Cost $ 21.00

$ 3.00 Ex 2, 7 w/ 1, 2, 6, 7 Cost $ 18.00

Race 9:

(5) TOWERING ORBIT may have found the right field as many of these haven’t cleared this level for a long time. Jose can stalk or go depending on what the others will do. She’s the filly to beat. Both (6) JEN’S BATTLE and (8) HIGHWAY QUEEN do their best running on turf. However, they have a dirt run on their resume that puts them right there with these. (2) SNICKET is another that prefers turf but has proven he can handle mud in his face. His speed figures have been improving recently as he may be rounding back into form. The bullet last week says he’s ready to roll.

$ 7.00 WPS 6 Cost $ 21.00

$ 3.00Ex 2, 5 w/ 2, 5, 6, 8 Cost $18.00
