We are back in action at Aqueduct. I will be condensing my plays to just the number and will be taking down the early double (Races 1-2) and a middle pick 3 ( Races 3-5 ) . Big Pete will have his full breakdown on his "Play of the Day" and the late pick 3 ( Races 6-8 ). We appreciate you taking a look at this write-up and GOOD LUCK.

Big Pete's "Play of the Day":
Race 3:
A solid group of NYS Bred maidens go 7F in here. The (1A) Talenti will draw a lot of attention. She should her speed and will likely go again. She may have some company today so I landed on the Laoban filly (6) OUR JESSICA to come and get them late. She first tried open company on debut and then was bumped hard at the start against similar. She made up some ground on the Hawk that day and gets a stalking outside post to target the speeds. The extra furlong will make all the difference today.

Big Pete's Late Pick 3:
Race 6:
This one looks wide open and I feel the need to get a price. (6) AMERICAN RULE switched barns two back and he's responded with a decent 3rd. He tired in that one but his previous two were awful so I view that as a good sign that he may be back. (2) MICROSCOPE is a price that I want to include. He's fresh off a claim and cuts back slightly. He hasn't seen the winners circle recently but he's been facing slightly better than today's competition. We won't get the ML price with all the scratches but he'll be a price with a shot. (8) REGAL QUALITY has improved first out for Rudy. His last number is best of this group today. I like the switch to Vargas and the cutback to 1M. I'm expecting more improvement today.

Race 7:
Newly turned 3yr old State Breds square off. With the scratch, the race looks wide open. (1) AVA K’S BOY is coming off a nice maiden score but that was at the Spa. If Martin has this guy ready off the layoff, he should save ground and make a run late. (4) MISTER LARRY was dismissed at the windows in his maiden score last month and won very easy. McCarthy returns and they figure to get a nice set up again. A Re-Pete of his last makes this guy tough. We'll use the speed from (3) ROTKNEE as this Run Happy is lone speed and may be tough to reel in. I'll toss in the turf runner (6) OPEN TIL MIDNIGHT as he tries dirt, gets L1 and faces NYS Breds again.

Race 8:
These MSW NYS Breds were cancelled last Thursday so they brought them back. (7) BEACH BOYAL ran well enough at 7F but I'm dicey about the extra furlong and I'm not so sure he gets close to the lead early on like he did last time. (10) EMINENCY is the colt to beat. The 1M should not be an issue and picks up McCarthy. A must use for me. (5) HE'S GOT IT figures to rebound from his first try on dirt. This Central Banker/Closing Arguement influence is what I want at this 8:1ML. He was wide and then leveled off late. The extra furlong is what he wants. I'll put him on top to close out the day. (6) INFEASIBLE didn’t run a lick and now gets L1 for this. He took some money so maybe there was an issue there so we’ll give him a shot today.
