Friday at Aqueduct and we have the entire card covered. We each will have a "Play of the Day" to start the day off and then I will be locked into a spot pick 3 (Races 3-5). Big Pete will be focused on the late pick 3 (Races 6-8). We appreciate you taking a look at this write-up and GOOD LUCK.

Little Pete's "Play of the Day":

Race 1:

I will take a shot in here with the inside horse (1) Comedic Timing. The two favorites in here are going to possess speed throughout and I think opens them up for a late closing horse, which I believe to be this horse. I think we will catch this horse at a decent price and hope we can get one of the two prices underneath.

Big Pete's "Play of the Day":

Race 2:

(3) MIA BEA STAR drops for Noda and gets in light . Her dad was a freak on the wet surfaces so with the class relief, she might be able to control right from the start. I think 2:1 would be a gift against this bunch.

Little Pete's Spot Pick 3:

Race 3:

(3) RunninSonOfAGun is a beatable favorite in here, but I will include. My top play will be (5) Gun Mastro who will improve this time out and is at the level where this horse has the best chance to win. (6) Good Skate is coming in off his best performance and should be able to improve from that effort against this field.

Race 4:

(1) R Working Girl has the speed to keep up and has had a significant drop off from her debut, but I think is the wild card in here and a must play. (6) Mazal Eighteen is coming in strong to this one and should be able to stalk throughout and wait for the moment to take off down the stretch. (7) Infringement will benefit from the move back to dirt and I think is a safe addition in here.

Race 5:

(3) Blewitt found it against these lower level fields and is a must play in here. (4) Dark Storm is going to come shooting down the lane late under Eric Cancel and we should expect some noise. (2) Direct Order is my last play who has the post position and is fresh off a nice beyer digit race. I think that translate to a big race in here under Trevor McCarthy.

Big Pete's Late Pick 3:

Race 6:

(6) UNTREATED looked good beating NW1X last time but I didn’t see much in there. He moves up and probably needs to improve a little to beat these. We’ll use but I like two others more. (5) PRIORITIZE has been keeping good company and after a short rest, posted a decent run in November for this. His style is against yesterday’s speed favoring track but I’m guessing it will be a little more fair today. (7) TWO THIRTY FIVE has raised his numbers since the claim three back. He’s a price and this Stay Thirsty won’t mind the moisture. I’ll take a shot with him and Franco up

Race 7:

(4) SEA FOAM may have the advantage with his speed. Not many in here to challenge him early. If they fall asleep, he’ll be tough to reel in. I think (9) TIERGAN may need to show more speed because of that. He glides over the moisture so if there’s any left over, he moves up. I’ll try to beat both with (6) WILD BANKER. He ran well to be a distant 2nd to Americanrevolution. A Re-Pete of that will be enough as he’s beaten both of the above two in the past.

Race 8:

This one looks wide open to me. (10) CURLIN’S WISDOM will get a lot of support. Jose will try to clear from out there to save some ground. (6) BOSSMAKINBOSSMOVES probably wants to go this distance rather than sprinting. A clean trip puts him right there. (4) EXCURSIONNISTE tries dirt again. His best numbers are on turf but breeding suggest that dirt is in the cards. I’ll take a shot with (3) SALTY HEIR. I like the Chief Seattle influence on the stretch out and possible wet track. The 1M seems perfect and did show some speed last time before giving it up. The switch to Cancel peeks my interest as well.
