Friday racing at the Big A and we have ourselves a nice 8 race card. We will be attacking a pair of pick 3 plays that covers the pick 6 sequence. I will be focused on races 3-5 and Big Pete will close the card with races 6-8. We also will have our "Play of the Day" on one of the other two races to ensure we have the whole card covered. We hope you are playing along and look forward to cashing some tickets! GOOD LUCK.

Little Pete's $ 1.00 Spot Pick 3:

R3: 6, 7, 11

R4: 1, 3

R5: 2, 3, 8, 9, 11 Cost: $ 30.00

Big Pete's $ 1.00 Late Pick 3:

R6: 2, 4, 5

R7: 1, 2, 8

R8: 1, 7, 10, 11 Cost: $ 36.00

Little Pete's "Play of the Day":

Race 1:

Of the two Exaggerator's making their debut, I prefer the Chad Summers runner (6) Overexaggerate instead. He usually has his runners ready at first asking. This colt has two quick gate works in March which are faster than any one in here to date. Look for Cancel to take advantage of that speed and try for an aggressive start.

$ 5.00 WPS 6 Cost: $ 15.00

Big Pete's "Play of the Day":

Race 2:

(3) GRINGOTTS moves back to the preferred 1M distance and drops slightly. She’ll likely sit behind the other fillies and mares and tip out for the stretch drive. Benji is familiar with her as he’s been up the last three races. This group has faced each other a few times and they keep beating each other. This race shapes up nicely for it to be Gringotts’ turn to come out on top.

(1A) Micromillion and (5) Lottie’s Mizzion have decent runs for a shot at the exacta.

$ 7.00 WPS 3 Cost $ 21.00

$ 7.00 Exacta 3 w/ 1, 5 Cost $ 14.00

We’ll also use Gringotts in R2 and try to cash in on a DAILY DOUBLE play.

(6) Jack’s Dream and (7) Rogue Leader look solid in the 3rd

$ 7.00 Double 3 w/ 6, 7 Cost $ 14.00

Little Pete's Spot Pick 3:

Race 3:

I will start by going three deep in here with my top pick being (7) Rogue Leader. I am anticipating a big race from this horse second time out and the workouts are consistent enough for me to think that. I think Manny will sit right behind the pace and be able to navigate a winning trip from the inside. (6) Jack's Dream is a firster I would like to give a try in here. I do not love many in here and think that this firster has the workouts to back up a big effort first time out. I think Cancel will be able to have a late charge down the stretch. Last play will be (11) Me 'N Sap who I think will enjoy the class relief and hit the lead early. There are not many in here that I think could catch this horse late down the stretch and may be able to run away with this one.

$3.00 WPS 6 Cost: $9.00

$2.00 Ex Box 6, 7, 11 Cost: $12.00

Race 4:

The entries in here look very tough to beat and only going to include one other horse in here against them. (1) Indian Counselor will be the one on the lead and (1A) Social Group will be the late charger down the stretch. A great combo to have in an entry and a must play here. I will throw a little coverage in here with (3) Latin Love Bug who I think is ascending at the moment and getting back to the lower level company will help this horse. I think that this horse will enjoy some early pace to run into and have a say come late.

$4.00 Ex Box 1, 3 Cost: $8.00

Race 5:

This is the race that we spread to close our ticket. (9) Mandate and (11) Life on Top from the Pletcher and Brown barn are going to throw down in here. I am leaning towards (9) Mandate in here to be able to navigate a late charging race in here to take this one like the Carmouche/Pletcher combo did last weekend. I also am going to give (10) FinancialStability another shot in here against his former trainer (Brown). Redemption match to show him what he is missing by giving him away; all the emotions! I also like (2) Simply in here to be in ascending form and have a say come stretch drive. Last play will be (3) Shootin the Breeze who I think will be on the lead early in here and left alone then this horse will have a head start against the field and a tough catch.

$3.00 WPS 2 Cost: $ 9.00

$2.00 Ex 2, 9 w/ 2, 3, 8, 9, 11 Cost: $ 16.00

Big Pete's Late Pick 3:

Race 6:

Both of Brown’s runners will take most of the action. I can’t fault either. (2) COUSIN ANDREW has three 2nd’s so I’ll focus a little more on the other one (4) SAVOY. Stretched out last time and made an improvement facing a salty group. That was also sloppy and he gets a dry track today. L1 may help. I’ll give the Jerkens colt a try. (5) ROYAL REALM also gets L1 and goes longer. That’s just what this Empire Maker wants to do. The colt he lost to in his debut, Three Two Zone, ran his eye balls out a week or so ago.

$ 7.00 WPS 5 Cost $ 21.00

$ 3.00 Ex 4, 5 w/ 2, 4, 5 Cost $ 12.00

Race 7:

Both Pletcher and Brown are going at it again and their runners looks strong in here.

(1A) GOOD GOVERNANCE exits a G2 and gets a little relief. His entry mate is no push over either so they will be a tough out in this one. (2) WINTERS BACK ships north where he is 2 for 2 on this course. I don’t see that much speed in here so Carmouche will likely do his thing and get aggressive early on the front end. A good chance that they will forget to stop. (8) EMARAATY ran into trouble in his last and just missed catching Winters Back. This 6 yr old has Jose up so a clean trip is likely which will put this guy in the winners circle.

$ 7.00 WPS 8 Cost $ 21.00

$ 3.00 Ex 2, 8 w/ 1, 2, 8 Cost $ 12.00

Race 8:

I like the move back to turf for (7) KENTUCKY KNIGHT. He has speed and he finally gets a jock that wins. If he can clear, speed is doing well on this course so far. (11) SIXTEEN TONS tries turf and drops in. It’s Rice and Cancel and has run faster than these. He’s your most likely winner here. (10) RATCHET is a wise guy pick. He debuted on turf last June and held his own. He clearly doesn’t like dirt so 15:1 ML his worth a stab. (1) OUCHOUCHOUCH is an ARCHARCHARCH who should love the TURFTURFTURF. He too is worth a look at these odds.

$ 7.00 WPS 7 Cost $ 21.00

$ 3.00 Ex 7, 11 w/ 1, 7, 10, 11 Cost $ 18.00
