We are coming in today after hitting both of our pick 3 plays, so technically we hit the pick 6 sequence; you're welcome. We will be looking to carry that momentum in and take down another pair of pick 3 plays that again covers the pick 6 sequence. I will be locked into races 4-6 and Big Pete will close the card on races 7-9. We also will have our "Play of the Day" on a race we would like to try and improve our bankroll on. We appreciate you taking a look at this post and hope that we can all make it a profitable day! GOOD LUCK.

Little Pete's "Play of the Day":

Race 3:

I am going to try and get a big price in here with (1) Mr. Fidget being my top pick in here. I think that this horse will like the stretch out and the early pace will pay dividends for this horse late. I love the rail position and think this horse will be able to eat up ground late against this field. I think it is worth a look to try include this horse in your plays.

$5.00 WPS 1 Cost: $15.00

Big Pete's "Play of the Day":

Course: Keeneland

Race 4:

We’ll try to win some money out of town and look at Keeneland for some action. It’s not surprising that the Cairo Prince filly (1) TAYET, ran well first time on the grass. She likes to sit chilly early so the rail draw should allow her to do just that. She’ll save ground most of the way and come and get them late. We’ll use her on top and use the speed and firster underneath. (5) Dearest Kitten and (7) Tracy Flick.

$ 7.00 WPS 1 Cost $ 21.00

$ 7.00 Exacta 1 w/ 5, 7 Cost $ 14.00

We’ll use Tayet with (1) Dean Martini and (5) Noren in our double

$ 7.00 Double 1 w/ 1, 5 Cost $ 14.00

Little Pete's Spot Pick 3:

Race 4:

The two Chad Brown horses, (4) Counterparty Risk and (5) Regal Glory, look really tough to beat in here and a must play on the ticket. I think that (5) Regal Glory has a slight advantage in here with how I think this race will play out with early speed. With the scratch of (1) Kilkea I am going to look for (2) Daria's Angel to benefit the most from the rail position. I think that this horse will be able to find the lead early and challenge the field to catch late on this softer surface. My last play will be (7) Call me Love who has the speed to stay forwardly placed, but with post position will need to work out a trip. Alvarado has been riding lights out and going to trust he places this horse in the best position to win.

$3.00 WPS 5 Cost: $9.00

$2.00 Ex 5 w/ 2,4,5,7 Cost: $8.00

$1.00 Ex 2,4,7 w/ 2,4,5,7 Cost: $9.00

Race 5:

I really like (5) Rainbow Gal in here to break her maiden. Jose Ortiz is getting the mount and this horse should be set up well to run by tiring horses late down the stretch. I also like (3) Sweet Larissa in this position to run a big sustained run. I think that this horse will improve second time out and could be a nice price. Last play will be (7) Raffinity who I think will improve drastically this time out at a lower level. I think that this horse needs to be placed more forwardly and the addition of blinkers makes me think that is the game plan here.

$3.00 WPS 5 Cost: $9.00

$2.00 Ex Box 3,5,7 Cost: $12.00

Race 6:

The favorite, (2) Tiergan, looks good in here and will get a play from me to close this ticket out. I do thin that there is going to be some competition in here and this race could get a price. (3) Three Jokers I like to run a stalking race in here on the rail and shoot out wide come stretch drive to have a chance to hit the wire first. I also really like (5) Devil's Code to show some ability in here against winner's for the first time. I think the combination of stretching out and the way he won last time out will translate extremely well in here at a price. Then my final play will be the Linda Rice horse to the outside in (7) TherisAStormBrewin who I think will eat up ground early and challenge late pursuers to beat him. I think this horse has a chance if they allow him to set the early fractions.

$3.00 WPS 5 Cost: $9.00

$2.00 Ex 3,5 w/ 2,3,5,7 Cost: $12.00

$1.00 Ex 2,7 w/ 2,3,5,7 Cost: $6.00

Big Pete's Late Pick 3:

Race 7:

A tricky NW2L 16k to start the late Pk3. (11) THE BIG S will be your favorite as he dropped to this level last time and posted a good 2nd. The 3rd place finisher returned to clear this level next out. There will be other speeds and that outside post scares me a little so I’ll try to beat him with (9) SPITBALL. Rice claimed him and she tried to stretch him out. He wants to sprint so the cut back to 6F is key in here. Then there’s the Jose factor to make it a no brainer. (4) BRUNATE won easy last time to break his maiden. Both races this year have shown major improvements for him. He may be a new animal this year. The wise guy pick is (5) GRATTO SWING. He doesn't jump off the page but his dad was a freak in the mud. He showed some speed in both of his wet track races.

$7.00 WPS 9 Cost: $21.00

$3.00 Ex 4,9 w/ 1,4,9,11 Cost: $18.00

Race 8:

I’ll be at the mercy of the pace in this CL20k sprint as I like closers and a stalker. (7) DAVID’S GEM is the one speed I’m worried about. If he can shake loose from the others, that could be dangerous if the track comes up speed favoring.(1) THE CARETAKER is consistent and gets a break in the weights today. He also won’t wind them going fast early. I’ll focus on (6) POPIZAR and Cancel to time it right. He drops in and gets a dry track this time. His Feb run where he almost got to Happy Farm jumps off the page. A similar effort will be plenty today. I have to use (2) KOSCIUSZKO one last time. He gets a new scenery fresh off the claim and responded with a bullet work last week for this. He has races in his pp’s that stack up well against these if he can find them.

$7.00 WPS 6 Cost: $21.00

$3.00 Ex 2,6 w/ 1,2,6,7 Cost: $18.00

Race 9:

There’s nothing clever to offer in this MCL sprint. (4) TINY MAGOO is fresh off the Atras claim after trying open company and returns to face NYS fillies again. Her Feb race would be plenty for this group. (6) STARSHIP KIARA is a firster and gets in light. She’s out of a Peace Rules mare so the off going may help her get over this track.

(11) BIG TONY’S GIRL has speed and convinces Jose to stick around. She’s your likely winner if Jose can save some ground. That’s what he gets paid to do.

$7.00 WPS 4 Cost: $21.00

$3.00 Ex 4,11 w/ 1,4,6,11 Cost: $18.00
