We are looking to close the weekend up with some cashed tickets at Aqueduct. We will be attacking a pair of pick 3 plays that cover the pick 6 sequence. I will be focused on races 3-5 and Big Pete will be locked into races 6-8. We also will have our "Play of the Day" on a race we would like to try and improve the bankroll on. GOOD LUCK.

Little Pete's $1.00 Spot Pick 3:

R3: 2, 4, 6

R4: 1, 2, 5, 6

R5: 2, 5, 6, 7

Cost: $48.00

Big Pete's $1.00 Late Pick 3:

R6: 1, 2, 3, 6

R7: 2, 3, 5, 6

R8: 3, 4, 8

Cost: $48.00

Little Pete's "Play of the Day":

Race 2:

Not going to try and beat the favorite in here, (2) Sweet Mia, who is getting a significant class drop in here. The field does not really look to be able to handle the early speed this horse will have and could run away with it. I think we can cash in underneath with some price horses coming in.

$5.00 Ex 2 w/ 3,4,5,6 Cost: $20.00

Big Pete's "Play of the Day":

Race 1:

There will be a ton of money bet on both of the Fast Anna fillies. They both ran ok but in slow times. This may be a bit of a stretch but I have to give long shot (5) MISSPOTOFGOLD one more shot here. She broke in a tangle then rushed up to the front soon after. She was in contention turning for home then quickly threw in the towel. She was given a couple of months off and Lasix is now added. The abrupt stop may have been bleeding and I’m willing to give her another try at this price.

$ 7.00 WPS 5 Cost $ 21.00

We’ll use her with (2) Qualifying Offer and (3) Betty’s Smile in our exacta

$ 3.00 Exacta Box 2, 3, 5 Cost $ 18.00

Little Pete's Spot Pick 3:

Race 3:

Going with the three horses entered by Pletcher and Brown. I do not see much outside of them in here, so going to take the layup when we have the lane (Nice basketball reference). (6) Mutasallem looks to be dangerous in this spot, especially with the stretch out. I think that Cancel will sit off the early pace and be able to have a winning move come stretch drive. (4) Dynamic One will be sent to the lead under Kendrick and if left alone by the field then will have a head start on the crowd and could be all this horse needs. Last play will be a forwardly placed (2) Gold Bear who raced just 9 days ago and getting a stretch out this time out. Manny will not mess around and find a forwardly placed rail position and Pletcher horses getting the stretch out are dangerous.

$3.00 Ex Box 2,4,6 Cost: $18.00

Race 4:

We are scratched down to four in here and my top selection, (3) Inscom, got scratched. With that I am going to take the field and hope we can get the highest price in. My new top pick would be (2) Aristocratic who will be sent to the lead in this 7 furlong race and that is the spot you should be on this track.

$3.00 WPS 2 Cost: $9.00

Race 5:

I really like (5) Beach Access in this spot to run a front running race in here. I think that Dylan Davis will be aggressive from the start and I think this horse will show good life against this field at a relatively nice price. (2) Hammerin Aamer is coming in off a win and is a late closer. That type of style could payoff late against this lower level field. (6) Its All Relevant is going to be sent to the front and try to never give that up, so will earn a spot on the ticket for being aggressive. (7) Runabout will be my last play who I think will be another horse that is strong come stretch drive.

$3.00 WPS 5 Cost: $9.00

$2.00 Ex 2,5 w/ 2,5,6,7 Cost: $12.00

$1.00 Ex 6,7 w/ 2,5,6,7 Cost: $6.00

Big Pete's Late Pick 3:

Race 6:

With a track favoring speed, (6) FOOLISH GHOST may have a big advantage over his rivals today as possible lone speed. However, he’s been settling for 2nd lately. We’ll use defensively but look elsewhere. With Castellano in town, Rudy gives him a leg up on (1) SNEAKINESS. He’s off to a good 2021 with 2 wins and tried to catch a loose Happy Farm. Figures to save ground and come with his run. The wild card is (3) INSTINCTIVE RHYTHM. Almost cleared this level at first asking, but was never involved right from the gate last time. Franco wants a do over with this gelding and if they get away clean, they will be a problem for the rest. I landed on (2) MORNING BREEZ. He’s finished right behind Ghost in two attempts but last time was gaining down inside where you didn’t want to be that day. If he gets the same run as that, the rail will help him on this track today.

$7.00 WPS 2 Cost: $21.00

$3.00 Ex 1,2 w/ 1,2,3,6 Cost: $18.00

Race 7:

(6) WASP will need to up her game as she steps up in class. The scratch helps her though. Connections will take some money here so she won’t provide much value. (3) ESPRESSO SHOT becomes more interesting now as she may be considered the class of the field. She hasn’t been effective going this long so I’ll look elsewhere. (5) CRITICAL VALUE was a queen in her 2yr old campaign then something went wrong and struggled throughout her 3yr season. Lately you can see her climbing back to her old self facing open company. Last time she ran into a resurging Maiden Beauty who jogged the other day. Franco will likely set up shop just off the speeds and gather momentum around the turn.

$7.00 WPS 5 Cost: $21.00

$3.00 Ex 5,6 w/ 2,3,5,6 Cost: $18.00

Race 8:

This is (8) MR. BUCKLEY’s race to lose. Any of his prior races will be good enough to beat this bunch. Most likely stalks today and comes with his run. The only firster we’ll include is (3) WINNERS LAUGH. His mom was fast and this guy sports a decent breeze for this. The others are difficult to endorse. I’ll use a savor and include

(4) ME ‘N SAP from Donk. He’s shown some improvement with Vargas in his last two and Jorge returns. He’ll add value if he continues to improve.

$10.00 Ex 8 w/ 3,4 Cost: $20.00
