Friday racing and we are looking to take down a pair of pick 3 plays that cover the pick 6 sequence. I will be locked in to races 3-5 and Big Pete will be focusing in on races 6-8. We also will have our "Play of the Day" on a race we would like to try and improve our bankroll on. We are looking to gain some momentum headed into the weekend and feel good about this card. Little Pete's "Play of the Day":

Race 2:

I like (2) Competitive Hero in this one to be in very good form to handle this field. This horse needed the extended break to find his running style and Jorge Abreu has this horse ready to roll. I think Manny will sit behind the early pace in here and then fan out wide to win this one.

Big Pete's "Play of the Day":

Race 1:

(4) YEROSILVERBIZ moves off the rail for his second start and figures to use his speed to control this all the way. The slight drop in class will be the difference for him holding on today. Artras is enjoying a good meet so look for this guy to strut his stuff.

Little Pete's Spot Pick 3:

Race 3:

We are scratched down to four horses in here and I am going to take the best jockey in here to handle this field. (7) Unrelenting Force gets a significant class relief in here and training consistently well leading into this one. I think that Manny will be able to send this horse to the lead and not look back.

Race 4:

The first leg single will help us spread out going forward. I will be including the two favorites, (1) Women Not Easy and (6) Grape Therapy, as I think these two horses will be the fastest from the gate and that is where you want to be in these sprinting races (Will also take (1A) Madam Deputy with the entry). (3) Queentigua has had some gate issues the last two times out and still runs decent races. I will play this horse with the assumption there won't be gate issues this time out. (5) Tiny Magoo is a horse I like to sit behind the pace and run a big race come stretch drive.

Race 5:

I think there is too many horses in here that will want the lead and that could make this a crap shoot come stretch drive. I am going to take the field (five horses) to close out the ticket. My top play will be (5) Gone Glimmering to benefit the most from some early speed and sitting behind the pace. This horse is first time out after being claimed from Linda Rice and she has some good numbers with those types of situations.

Big Pete's Late Pick 3:

Race 6:

(6) LA KARA MIA will draw a lot of attention. She ran well against Sharp Starr but that was a long time ago. Same can be said about (1) BANK STING who lost to A Freud of Mama a year ago. I guess they can win but their works don’t jump off the page for their return. I’ll take a shot with (5) LUCKY GIRL. She tried open company last time as HaloCity won impressively yesterday and she wasn’t that far from her. She gets in light here and I like the 7F better for this filly. (3) MOON SWEEPER didn’t run a step last time but Davis sticks and this Orb ran some fast races on the turf. We’ll give her one more shot.

Race 7:

(8) PRINCE OF PHAROAHS just missed in his last two tries after being off for some time. Cancel subs in today bt we’re expecting this guy to bring his A game today and should handle these. (2) RAVEN ROCKS has kept good company in all four of his races. The favorite beat him by a decent margin but he didn’t look comfortable the whole race. He’ll let the others go and come with his run late. (5) POSSETIZZLY will also wait for his que, then try to pass some tired horses late. Big odds can help with the exacta. (3) KAZ’S BEACH cuts back slightly and has some fast races that makes him competitive.

Race 8:

I’ll use two on top that look like they’ll via for favoritism. (4) IMPRSSTHEPROFESSOR takes a serious drop which is alarming but his races are faster than these. Carmouche returns and gets more ground to close in. (1) MEBS WEB ran well against an easy winner, Lottie’s Mizzion, and faces a similar group today. (8) GRINGOTTS exits the same race as Web. She gets a rider switch and sometimes that’s enough. (7) APPRECIATE finally woke up on the surface switch. Not your typical win candidate as she’s 1 for 34 but can easily slip into the exacta.
