We are back to live racing in NY and we have you covered for the pick 6 sequence. We will be breaking down our plays into a pair of pick 3's with myself focusing on races 3-5 and Big Pete focusing on races 6-8. We also will have our "Play of the Day" on a race we would like to try and improve the bankroll on. Make sure to subscribe to the newsletter. GOOD LUCK.

R4: 1, 3, 4
R5: 1, 3, 4, 7
Cost: $12.00
Big Pete's $1.00 Late Pick 3:

R8: 2, 3, 7, 8
Cost: $48.00

Race 2:
Let's try and cash in on (3) Wicked Title in here with a nice price coming in for second. I like there to be some early pace in this mile race which will open up the possibility of a late surging horse to hit the board. I think (2) Micromillion and (7) La Negrita will be two horses that will benefit from a fast pace and could hit the board behind (3) Wicked Title.
$5.00 WPS 3 Cost: $15.00
$3.00 Ex 3 w/ 1,2,4,7 Cost: $12.00
$2.00 Ex 2,7 w/ 1,2,4,7 Cost: $12.00
Big Pete's "Play of the Day":
Race 1:
Dropping to this level is not Brown’s strong point, but we’ll get a better price than the favorite on (1) REPEAL AND REPLACE. It wasn’t the cleanest of brakes for her when these gals met last time, so a clean break may make the difference. Franco returns and I’m expecting a better run today.
$ 10.00 WPS 1 Cost $ 30.00
$ 7.00 Ex 1 w/ 2, 6 Cost $ 14.00
Little Pete's Spot Pick 3:
Race 3:
I am going to go out on a limb here and single (1) Merchants of Cool. I think this horse will benefit greatly from the post position and having an aggressive rider aboard to find the early lead or right behind it. This horse has shown the ability to get stronger as the race progresses and I think that running style will be well suited to win this race.
$5.00 WPS 1 Cost: $15.00
$2.00 Ex 1 w/ 2,3,4,5,6 Cost: $10.00
Race 4:
(1) DoYouKnowWhoIAm ran a front running race last time out and was beat at the wire. I think with a little moisture in the ground it will be more difficult to catch this horse late and will be my top pick in here. (3) TellaPerfectTale is going to be sitting right behind that pace and may have enough stamina left to compete late, so will also include. The last horse I would like to include in (4) Sassy Melissa who is getting better each time out and this may be the field that she needed to run a big closing race against.
$3.00 WPS 1 Cost: $9.00
$2.00 Ex Box 1,3,4 Cost: $12.00
Race 5:
(1) Buyer's Remorse is getting back to lower level fields and has had great success against them. I again love the post position for this horse who should show early speed and be able to navigate a nice trip in here. (3) Saratoga Beauty will be sent to a stalking position and will allow Eric Cancel to sit behind the early pace and fan out wide for a stretch drive. Cancel prefers this running style and could work out a ground saving trip in here to have the freshest horse late. (4) Blichton Lady is hit or miss on the track and I will be including in case she is on her game today with a bit of an off track. Last play will be (7) Left Leaning Lucy who I think will be forced to track the early speed and then show off the late speed to try and hit the wire first.
$3.00 WPS 1 Cost: $9.00
$2.00 Ex 1,3 w/ 1,3,4,7 Cost: $12.00
$1.00 Ex 4,7 w/ 1,3,4,7 Cost: $6.00
Big Pete's Late Pick 3:
Race 6:
There’s a few in here that want the lead and the way this track has been playing, they will likely go. I’m guessing maintenance has figured it out and I hope we get a fair track today. I’ll take the stalker (4) STYLISH RAGS to run them down. This Ward runner was bet in her debut and she got there in time. She wants more ground than she gets today, but with the speeds going at it, it sets her up nicely. (1) TAP THE BARREL can go or sit just off. Cancel will likely sit right behind them and secure the rail. If they get daylight, she can get there at a price. Rudy has (2) TIMED OUT who he claimed two back and just missed first out for that barn. She’s your likely winner and is a must use for me. (3) SHAKER SHACK is a Bustin Stones and they are doing well on this Aqueduct surface this meet. She’s fast and will need to be caught.
$7.00 WPS 4 Cost: $21.00
$3.00 Ex 2,4 w/ 1,2,3,4 Cost: $18.00
Race 7:
(4) COLD HARD CASH looms large to me with this group. Rice and Cancel hook up for this and they cut back to his best distance IMO. He’s been facing good company most of the year and looks back on track after a head scratcher two back where he was dull. Moisture will help if that comes into play. Of the entry, (1A) BAD GUY is the one I liked anyways. He needs the speeds to back up so we’ll need to keep an eye on how the track is playing. Vargas bails on him and ends up on the other Rice runner (7) TOO EARLY. He’s been finishing behind Cash often but seems to be improving. It would be no surprise if he turns the table on him today.
$7.00 WPS 4 Cost: $21.00
$3.00 Ex Box 1,4,7 Cost: $18.00
Race 8:
NW2L runners are always a tough bunch to figure as they just don’t like to win. I scratched into (3) IMPERIO D. He’s been able to collect checks though out his career, but finally managed to win last time. That was his best race to date so maybe this guy has improved for Rudy at the right time. (8) TRAPPEZE ARTIST ran decent last time when they shipped in for Potts. This guy has off track pedigree top and bottom. I can’t remember ever seeing Luzzi with over a 50% hitting the board number. They both found the right field to get their picture taken. (7) JOYCEE HAZ PIZZAZ woke up last time. Gets the same jock and just needs to Re-Pete that run to be competitive here.
