We have a nice eight race card today at Aqueduct and we will be covering each of the races. I will be playing a pick 3 that covers races 3-5 and Big Pete will be playing a pick 3 as well that covers races 6-8. We also will have our "Play of the Day" to cover the other two races on the card. We are coming in with a bit of momentum and will look to use that to cash some more tickets. GOOD LUCK.

Race 2:
I am going to go with (6) Shannon's Girl in this lower level race. I think that this horse should be able to find a rail position in this sprinting race and if the front runners get into an early speed battle, then I like this horse to run on with it late. I will play with (5) Tuff Bird who I think is a horse that may be able to sustain a big run from the front.

Race 1:
I’m not a fan when Brown drops and Mott is ice cold at Aqueduct so both of these favorites are worth a shot against. I’ll give (3) NISBET BEACH a chance to strut her stuff as she adds L1 and gets the red hot Cancel. The one turn mile is just what this Fed Biz needs

Little Pete's Spot Pick 3:
Race 3:
I landed on four horses to start the ticket. (1A) Did I Stutter (Shoutout The Office) is coming in with the strongest previous race and that signals to me this horse is in good form to run a similar race. (3) Malibu Anthem will be sent to the lead from the gate and the small cutback in distance should only allow this horse to run a stronger race. (4) Wicked Happy is exiting the same race as (3) Malibu Anthem and sustained a big race throughout. This horse could work out a better trip and be the first to hit the wire. (6) Bastet will be my outside closer in here. I expect this horse to be sent to the rail early and run a big race from the inside.

Race 4:
This is going to be a competitive race that I think will go to a late finisher. (1) Control Group will be my top play in here with a big surge late down the stretch. I think that (5) Flowers for Lisa will be the controlling speed and could be in too good of form to catch late, so will include as well. I also like (2) Parade Field to be able to find an early rail position and have a shot late to run by the leaders. Last play will be (4) Air Attack who I think will find a position right behind (5) Flower for Lisa and that ground saving position could be the winning move with a late surge past the leader.

Race 5:
(3) La Victoria looks to be a must play first time out from the Pletcher barn. This daughter of Tapit should only run better if the track has some moisture in it and there is snow in the forecast. I couldn't land on a single in this horse, so I also will be including (2) Summer Brew. This horse has been improving and has run against some competitive fields. If (3) La Victoria does not run to her odds, then I like (2) Summer Brew to benefit the most in this field.

Big Pete's Late Pick 3:
Race 6:
Rice has a one, two punch to get this Pk3 started. (6) MORGANTOWNwill provide the speed and (8) NOTORIOUS FLIRT will likely make a late run. I’ll lean towards Flirt to have a stronger kick as he cuts back to the 6F distance. However, if Morgan is left alone, Cancel can get him home. (1) BUSTIN TIMBERLAKE will be the main danger. He’ll likely get first jump on the closers and try to say Bye Bye Bye through the stretch. (5) FLEET WARRIOR is the sleeper. Ran a respectable 3rd last time and followed that with an eye popping bullet on the 5th. Englehart has him ready to roll.

Race 7:
(1) TRIBECCA has been fast all year long. Now he moves back in against NY Breds today. McCarthy will need to hold his position on the rail. Look for them to gun to the lead and take them all the way. (2) BIG ENGINE will sit right behind Tribecca and kick in when Cancel gives him the signal. (4) MY BOY TATE would dominate this race a few years ago but the times have caught up to him. The 6F will help and Nevin is improving most of her barn right now. (5) ADMUNDSON is the new kid on the block. He’ll try to flex his muscles today as he’s 1 for 1 on this Aqueduct surface.

Race 8:
A very slow group of claimers go at it. We’ll start with (1) THERISASTORMBREWIN as this guy takes the plunge. Baker’s been white hot and has hit the board often this meet. Vargas takes the mount. I’ll lean heavy on (6) COOLBOY to come and get them late. The switch to Davis helps as does the slight cut back to 6F. Has struggled in the win column but it’s now or never against this very weak field. The post doesn’t help (8) BIG BOYMO who dropped to this level and managed 3rd against a better group. A Re-Pete of that effort might be enough today.
