Friday racing at Aqueduct and we have a pair of pick 3 plays that cover the pick 6. I will be covering races 4-6 and Big Pete will handle races 7-9. We also will have our "Play of the Day" on a race we would like to try and increase our bankroll on. Little Pete's $1.00 Spot Pick 3::

R4: 1, 6

R5: 3, 6, 11, 12

R6: 1, 4, 5, 7

Cost: $32.00

Big Pete's $1.00 Late Pick 3:

R7: 1, 3, 10

R8: 2, 4, 9, 14

R9: 5, 6, 9, 11

Cost: $48.00

Little Pete's "Play of the Day":

Race 5:

I am going to give Todd Pletcher this race in here and try and maximize on his firster, (11) Coffee Bar. I think this horse has been training consistently well and will be sent to the lead under Johnny V. I don't see a horse in here who really looks great on paper to me, so I think worth throwing a little more money at this horse.

$7.00 WPS 11 Cost: $21.00

$3.00 Ex 11 w/ 3,6,12 Cost: $9.00

Big Pete's "Play of the Day":

Race 2:

Palace Gossip figures to take a lot of action in this MSW sprint for fillies. I can’t pass up the 5:1 ML on (10) STUCK ON KITTEN. This Kitten’s Joy has all the boxes checked. Ramsey, Ward, Rosario to start and the last two bullets jump off the page. I’m expecting this one to be ready right out of the gate.

I’ll also use her with the two likely favorites in the exacta:

(3) O’Gotten Girl and (6) Palace Gossip

$ 10.00 WPS 10 Cost $ 30.00

Little Pete's Spot Pick 3:

Race 4:

I only landed on two horses in the first leg. I am expecting (6) Stanhope to be sent to the early lead and if left alone then could wire this field. The only horse that I like to be able to handle some speedy early fractions is the (1) Jake Rocks. I think Jose Ortiz will be able to ride the rail around the turn and sit behind the early pace and then come shooting out late to try and run down this field.

$3.00 WPS 1 Cost: $9.00

$5.00 Ex Box 1,6 Cost: $10.00

Race 5:

Landed on four horses in this competitive filly maiden special weight and will start with (3) Hip Number One I think this firster from Central Banker will be able to handle the surface well first time out and be a competitive horse throughout under Dylan Davis. (6) A Life That's Good is switching to dirt and I think that could be a winning move. This horse should be able to handle the surface a little better from what the workouts indicate and should run a big one in here. (11) Coffee Bar is a firster from Todd Pletcher who always seems to send out first time winners. Johnny V aboard only improves the chances of this horse winning. (12) BustinmyGroove ran a pretty good race on dirt first time out and should only improve from that effort.

$3.00 WPS 11 Cost: $9.00

$2.00 Ex 11,12 w/ 3,6,11,12 Cost: $12.00

$1.00 Ex 3,6 w/ 3,6,11,12 Cost: $6.00

Race 6:

Closing the ticket with four in here that I really like. (1) Phantom Smoke and (7) Swashbuckle are two Clement horses that are a must play here for me. These two horses should be forwardly placed and have plenty in the tank late to run away with this one. With that said, I think we should hedge with a late closing sprint from (4) It's a Gamble and an improved effort from (5) Hillbilly Logic. I think both of these horses will be aggressive early and that could pay off late in this 6 furlongs sprint on grass.

$3.00 WPS 7 Cost: $9.00

$2.00 Ex 1,7 w/ 1,4,5,7 Cost: $12.00

$1.00 Ex 1,7 w/ 1,4,5,7 Cost: $6.00

Big Pete's Late Pick 3:

Race 7:

A three headed monster for Maker here and all three have a shot. (1A) CHOCOLATE BAR is a Cairo Prince so the 1M fits. He has hit the board each time in three starts, with Jose up. (1) MUCH TROUBLE closed fast to just miss at 7F and recorded a big figure in that one. I’ll try to slay the entry with (3) BAD GUY. He beat On The Couch two back and that one won easy yesterday. Then he faced better last time to get within 3 lengths. I’ll give him a chance as Rosario shows up here. (10) MORE LIKE IT has been competitive this year and beat Bad Guy last time. The gelding gets in light again for this.

$7.00 WPS 3 Cost: $21.00

$3.00 Ex 1,3 w/ 1,3,5,10 Cost: $18.00

Race 8:

(2) WEGOTOLDYOUGOLD dropped to this level last time and won easy. He’s looking for the Re-Pete and I can’t knock it. If he runs that same race, everyone else is running for 2nd. (14) KOSCIUSZKO takes the necessary drop that gives him a chance vs these. He has a win on this track and gets the bug weight. He clearly has been facing much better animals this year and should appreciate the relief. Plenty of speed signed on to set up his late kick. (4) BATTERBATTERSWING ships in for Casse but takes a nosed dive in class. Sounds like they are not pleased with him and they put a for sale sign on him. The only reason I will include this guy is that Lezcano accepts the mount.

$7.00 WPS 14 Cost: $21.00

$3.00 Ex 2,14 w/ 2,4,9,14 Cost: $18.00

Race 9:

Not the best start for (5) PRINCE ORB in his debut as he took some money as a firster. This Orb gets to stretch his legs going longer today. (11) ANOTHER SHOT will get just that here. He too should benefit on the stretch to 1M being a Palace Malice. I’m not happy about the drop though, so, we’ll look to beat him. (6) DOUBLEPOUR is interesting. Johnny V sticks around for this MCL40K. He doesn’t need this so I’m guessing this one could be live. Similar run as his last might be good enough against these. (9) BOHEMIAN RUBY finally drops to the proper level. His Spa debut is encouraging so there’s a possibility for him to come into the picture late.

$7.00 WPS 6 Cost: $21.00

$3.00 Ex 6,11 w/ 5,6,9,11 Cost: $18.00
