A nice 9 race card today at Aqueduct and we have a pair of pick 3 plays to cover the pick 6 sequence. I will be covering races 4-6 and Big Pete will be covering races 7-9. We also will have our "Play of the Day" on a race that we believe we can improve the bankroll. Little Pete's "Play of the Day":
Race 1:
I am going to parlay my play with Big Pete and take a chance on (3) Poncho Song second time out on this same dirt. I like that this horse had another training session before getting this mount and stretching out a bit. I think this horse will be able to find a nice rail position early and be able to handle this field a bit better than she did first time out. I think an aggressive ride in here will pay off late and expect Jose Lezcano to do this.

Big Pete's "Play of the Day":
Race 1:
(7) QUASHANA is interesting on the switch to dirt. She may like the moisture with the Exaggerator influence. I’m not high on the trainer, but Davis takes the mount and he does well this time of the year. We’re getting a good price to take a shot here.

Little Pete's Spot Pick 3:
Race 4:
I landed on the two favorites in here and am leaning on (3) Miami Mumbles to run down the early pace and take this one. I like (4) Invaluable to find the early lead and set the pace. I think that she will have some company to her outside in (5) Blood Moon, but ultimately has a little more in the tank and could sustain a big run in here. I just think that the early battle will expose her to (3) Miami Mumbles running by late who is in good form coming into this one and should be in a perfect position under Jose Lezcano.

Race 5:
Christophe Clement has an improving horse in here with (2) Lucky Latkes. I think that this horse will be able to sit behind the lead early with the post position and close strongly in here. I also like (4) Dancing Kiki to have a similar run in here and be able to sit behind that pace and run on late. (12) Lucky Lizzie is going to be my top pick in here who I think will improve second time out on grass and will be sent to the lead from the gate. I think that this head start on closers will allow this horse to sustain a big run in here.

Race 6:
Here is where we will try and catch our price to close the ticket out. (4) High Tide has found a liking to the grass and with the surface only being good it could be difficult to close on this field. This horse will find the early lead and could run a wire to wire effort. (5) Bail Out has shown the ability to close well late and this race could set up for a late runner, so will include. (9) Royale ran a nice race first time out in claiming company and will get another try in this special weight. Clement must see something with this horse and that to me makes this horse a dangerous one and a must play. (11) American Piper is 30/1 morning line but ran a decent race first time out on grass. I like this son of Big Brown to enjoy some moisture in the ground and be able to run a big one in here. (12) Dreams of Tomorrow has shown the ability to run on a softer ground and will be able to find his footing early in here from the outside post. I am going to make this horse my top pick in here.

Big Pete's Late Pick 3:
Race 7:
(3) HAMMERIN AAMER was claimed two back and DiPrima seems to have him ready for in his third attempt. His last speed number is better than this bunch so I’m expecting a big run here. (2) HEAVY ROLLER may not like Big Sandy as he lost terribly both times on it. His Spa run two back puts him right there against these. Atras goes to Davis and may get the best price on him all year today. Rudy drops (10) SKYLER’S SCRAMJET to the same level he claimed him at. They attract Jose so if we get the 6:1ML, he’s worth a shot.

Race 8:
The lightly raced colt (10) ON THE COUCH moves back to the turf and re-unites with Johnny V. There id enough speed signed on to give this guy a target to run down through the stretch. (1) DANFUSI has speed and now tries 6F for the first time. If left alone, he may take them a long way. The two closers I want are (7) THREE OUTLAWS and (8) IMPAZIBLE ODDS. Both finished right behind On The Couch so if either one get the perfect trip, they can upset this field.

Race 9:
Not a lot of speed here so I’ll take a shot with (5) WOMEN NOT EASY, to get out fast and wire this group. The cut back to 6F should help. Rudy plays the weight game and goes with the bug up. (1) MIZZYS IMAGE woke up in a big way for Donk 2nd time out. She too gets a bug and will sit close and make a run late. (8) LOVE ME TOMORROW will take a lot of money again but may have found the right field. I’ll use but expecting some else to beat her again. (6) REMOANE woke up last time with L1.
