We are headed into this one after Big Pete's nice late pick 3 hit yesterday so carrying in some momentum. We are going to stay consistent and try and take down a pair of pick 3 plays that cover the pick 6 sequence. We also will have our "Play of the Day" on a race we would like to try and improve our bankroll on. Big Pete's $1.00 Late Pick 3:

Cost: $48.00

Little Pete's "Play of the Day":

Race 2:

I am going to focus in on the (4) Secret Love to remain undefeated in here. I think this horse has plenty of speed comparative to this group and will not mess around and find a trip. This horse will be on the lead and not look back.

$5.00 WPS 4 Cost: $15.00

$3.00 Ex 4 w/ 2,5,6,7 Cost: $12.00

Big Pete's "Play of the Day":

Race 4:

I’ll take the first time starter (3) GWAUN RIVER VALLEY in this MSW event. No one stands out of those that have raced, so I’ll put my trust in this Blame colt. His mom won first out and has produced a winner in her first foal. Clement can have them ready and were getting 6:1 ML.

$ 10.00 WPS 3 Cost $ 30.00

Little Pete's Spot Pick 3:

Race 5:

I am going three deep in here in this lower level claiming race. I really like (5) Princess Pao to hit the lead and not look back. I like Dylan to be aggressive and get the lead from this group and think that is all that this horse needs to win this one. I also will hedge with (1) A Bridge Too Far and (8) Make or Break to be sitting right behind the pace and have chance to run down the front runner.

$3.00 WPS 5 Cost: $9.00

$3.00 Ex 5 w/ 1,8 Cost: $6.00

$2.00 Ex 1,8 w/ 1,5,8 Cost: $8.00

Race 6:

I am going with all firsters in here as I really do not like any of the horses with experience and would like to try and beat. (8) R Working Girl is expected to have the speed needed to win this race and will try and steal this race at the front end. The workout leading in makes me think this horse may have the ability to do so and will require me to play. (5) Elevator Shaft also looks to be a horse that will possess speed, but I expect Lezcano to sit right behind the pace and be able to fan out wide late and try and find the wire first. (2) Maracuja is a horse I like to show off some late speed and try and run down the tiring horses and think this horse is a major threat. (1) Just Read It has a nice post position and I think will be able to save ground throughout and this horse could be a player in here.

$3.00 WPS 5 Cost: $9.00

$2.00 Ex 2,5 w/ 1,2,5,8 Cost: $12.00

$1.00 Ex 1,8 w/ 1,2,5,8 Cost: $6.00

Race 7:

I think that (4) Limonite is going to search for the lead in here and if left alone then this horse can run away with this one so will get a play. I like (2) Per Capita and (6) Someday Jones are the strongest closers in here and I like their chances of sitting behind the early pace and run down the field late. I am not going to overthink and go with these three.

$3.00 WPS 2 Cost: $9.00

$2.00 Ex Box 2,4,6 Cost: $12.00

Big Pete's Late Pick 3:

Race 8:

(2) RIFT VALLEY was bet heavy in his debut. He didn’t seem to handle the off that well to me. Climbed back into the race after a hesitant start, and just coasted home. Lezcano gets the call and his works indicate that he may show more speed today and the 7F works to his advantage. The others exiting that same race, to me don’t seem to want to go this extra furlong. I’ll opt for (6) NEURO over them. He’s been going longer and can handle it. I like the cut back to 7F and Davis returns. I’ll use both on top. (9) NOT PHAR NOW may not have like the off last time too, so a dry track will help and just missed going this far two back. Cancel continues to ride well so we’ll include (1) KING ANGELO is turf meant but he is out working everyone in the morning for his debut. Franco is expected to heat up so this guy is worth a look first out.

$7.00 WPS 2 Cost: $21.00

$3.00 Ex 2,6 w/ 1,2,6,9 Cost: $18.00

Race 9:

Both favorites look the part. (6) LUNA’S IN CHARGE has two 2nds when facing fellow NYBreds. He ships in facing slightly better and picks up Lezcano. That’s a lot to like so we’ll give him the advantage. (8) JEMOGRAPHY usually comes late to the scene but seems to come up just short. I like the switch to Davis here as he’s been timing them right lately. I have to take a shot with the slight outsider (10) NOTORIOUS FLIRT today. He was on the shelf for most of the year and slowly worked himself back into shape with two decent efforts behind Jemography. He’s faced and beat some good ones last year and if he’s right, can make some noise against these. If we get the 6:1 ML, I’m all in.

$7.00 WPS 10 Cost: $21.00

$3.00 Ex 6,10 w/ 5,6,8,10 Cost: $18.00

Race 10:

Big scratch in here now makes the finale wide open. Not a lot of speed in this race so I’m guessing (6) RYAN’S CAT has the chance to take them a long way. If Cancel can relax this guy up front, they will be hard to run down. I can’t pass on the 12:1 ML on (10) CAUSE OF ACTION. He dropped to this level and came running late in both, but the cut back to 6F will make his run faster. If he can work out a trip, he’ll be dangerous. (14) LIGHT THE POSSE drops in for an easier spot. Most of the time that’s enough to wake these horses up. The interesting one is (15) DR. DEVERA’S WAY who draws in from the AE’s. He has some speed which this field is lacking. He’ll need to get close to the rail to have a shot.

$7.00 WPS 10 Cost: $21.00

$3.00 Ex 6,10 w/ 6,10,14,15 Cost: $18.00
