Big Pete at the controls for this Sunday card at Aqueduct. Perfect day for racing and I'll offer my signature late Pk3 play again. I'll also include a Play of the Day in R2 and try a mid-card Exacta and Double. Big Pete's "Play of the Day":

Race 2:

(1) SAFARI QUEEN showed improvement two back when Motion put her back on the turf and stretched her out. That’s what most of these Animal Kingdom’s want to do. Now she gets to go farther and picks up Mccarthy.

I’ll use with (5) Ceant and (7) Harlem Heights

Big Pete's Spot Exacta and Double:

Race 5:

(4) STAY FOND is in a zone right now. Yes, she'll be short odds but, I'm taking the layup for the win and look for some value underneath and Race 6. I'll look for bot (2) MISS LOYALTY and (7) DIRTY BIRD to benefit from some early heat to give one of these closers to pass all the tiring horses. We'll put Stay Fond on top of these two.

I'll also use (4) STAY FOND with a couple of Maidens in Race 6 from doubles. I'm interested in (9) A VOW OF BEAUTY getting back on the grass. He closed two back and almost got to likely favorite Jade's Dream. Look for this guy to be coming home strong through the lane. (5) NEURO is the other price I want. He too returns to the lawn and was facing slightly better than he these. We'll try to get one of these home to juice up this double

Big Pete's Late Pick 3:

Race 8:

A difficult bottom basement claiming event to start off this late Pick 3. Morning Line favorite (8) SCARF IT DOWN is 4:1. That’s high for a fav. He won at this level two back and didn’t care for the slop last time. We’ll use but I think he’s facing better here and I’ll try to beat him. There’s two in here that I’ll focus on as they have run well on this Aqueduct oval. (7) PLAYRIGHT won back to back earlier this year posting strong figures while facing much better. He finished right behind Scarf last time and is showing signs he’s back in form. (14) HARDCORE FOLKLORE was claimed two back and almost gave the connection their money back with a big run before tiring. The dry track should help this one maintain his momentum. (11) BEACH ACCESS drops in for a tag after showing signs of decline. Not a good sign but, his two best races have come at Aqu.

Race 9:

I can’t see beating both favorites in this Nashua. (1) TEN FOR TEN may be your single as this Frosted stretched out nicely to post a high number. Figures to save ground and may find him self all alone up front. (2) NOVA RAGS is the only other one I’ll use. This Union Rags just got up last time and now gets to stretch his legs around two turns. Both positive as the more distance the better. I can’t see anyone else for the win slot here so I’ll use (5) ISOLATE underneath as he is working well and has yet to lose in two starts. He tries the big leagues now..

Race 10:

(3) U SHOULD B DANCING tried turf last time and liked it. She got to the lead in the stretch before getting caught late. Now cuts back to 6F and may show more speed and try to go gate to wire. (8) VIOLENTIAM also tried turf and ran well to get 2nd again. That seems to be a pattern with her so we’ll use in the exacta. First time start (2) LITTLE DUTCH GIRL comes in a 4:1 ML. She has some turf breeding and Clement can have them ready first time. We’ll watch the board to see if this one takes money. If so, the word may be out. (12) THE PROMISED ROAD didn’t break that well and really did no running until the stretch. Weaver can improve this one 2nd out as she took a lot of money in her debut. I will take a shot with this gal as the outside post may help to give Juarez a clean break and challenge through out.
