We are highlighted today by the Gr.3 Fall Highweight in the 8th on this 10 race card at Aqueduct. We will be playing a pair of pick 3 plays that cover the pick 6 sequence. I will be keying in on race 5-7 and Big Pete will be keying in on races 8-10. We also will have our "Play of the Day" on a race we see as opportunity to cash in a ticket. Big Pete's $1.00 Late Pick 3:

Little Pete's "Play of the Day":
Race 1:
There is early speed on paper in this race and I think this sets up well for Dylan Davis to have a convincing stretch drive aboard (6) Determined Fury. I think that this horse will be able to sit behind the early pace and fan out wide around the turn. I also think that we can get a price coming in to hit the board late. (1) Knockout Punch and the firster (5) Growl Tiger are two horses that I think will come on late to hit the board. I also will include the (3) Clemenza and (4) Instinctive Rhythm who I think will be the early pace setters and could stay up there late.
$5.00 WPS 6 Cost: $15.00
$3.00 Ex 6 w/ 1,3,4,5 Cost: $12.00
$2.00 Ex 1,3,4,5 w/ 6 Cost: $8.00
Big Pete's "Play of the Day":
Race 3:
We’ll try to beat the Chad Brown favorite in here with (4) BOX N SCORE. Seems like the farther the better for this Lemon Drop Kid. He closed well both times at the 8.5F distance in his last two and now gets to stretch his legs in this 11F event. In both of his races this year, he’s was bet down to the favorite. We should get a decent price on him today.
$ 10.00 WPS 4 Cost $ 21.00
$ 5.00 Ex Box 2, 4, 8 Cost $ 30.00
Little Pete's Spot Pick 3:
Race 5:
I have to go four deep in here in this competitive filly maiden special weight. I think that (2) Caramel Swirl is a logical play in here and should improve from her first start, which should be able to get this one done. I just cannot trust this young filly just yet to not hedge. (3) Precipitate is a Chad Brown runner who has been training lights out and looks to be another horse from the Brown barn we will get to know more soon. (4) Miss Brazil is a horse with a career start under her belt, but that was on grass. I think that this horse translates extremely well to the surface change and runs a huge race in here. Last play will be the consistently training (6) Soma who has the pedigree and we should expect an aggressive ride from Jose Ortiz in here. He has been cold at the meet and should be pressing for some more wins.
$3.00 WPS 4 Cost: $9.00
$2.00 Ex 2,4 w/ 2,3,4,6 Cost: $12.00
$1.00 Ex 3,6 w/ 2,3,4,6 Cost: $6.00
Race 6:
I am playing (6) Stunning Princess to find the early lead in here and try and route the competition. This horse has been unlucky in her career and looks to have run into a favorable field. (9) Third Draft and (10) Cadencia are going to be my two closers on the front running (6) Stunning Princess. There are others in here that look good on paper, but how I think this race will be run will give these three horses the advantage.
$3.00 WPS 6 Cost: $9.00
$2.00 Ex Box 6,9,10 Cost: $12.00
Race 7:
Close the ticket with three horses on the outside. (8) Madeline Must is going to be my top pick in here with redemption on the brain and a more aggressive ride early. This distance looks to be the one that this horse wants and should be able to sustain a big race in here. (9) Lead Guitar is a dangerous favorite in here, but I think a little vulnerable in this spot. The horse looks to be in good form and must play for me, but I think this horse is more likely to place or show in here. (10) A Great Time is a horse that looks to be in great form and this distance also looks to suit this horse as well. I am expecting an aggressive ride from Jose Ortiz and that could be all this horse needs to run down the field late down the stretch. Big Pete from the clouds: told me to include (11) My Sassy Sarah in here, so will give him a nod in my pick 3 sequence.
$3.00 WPS 8 Cost: $9.00
$2.00 Ex Box 8,9,10 Cost: $12.00
Big Pete's Late Pick 3:
Race 8:
(5) SHARE THE RIDE has hit another gear in his last few races and looks to be in career form. He picks up Jose for this and is the worthy favorite. The other short price will be (3) MAJESTIC DUNHILL. He too has come alive for Weaver in his last two and will cut back to the 6F. He just got up in the mud last time but handles dry dirt just as well. I will try to beat them both with (2) DRAFTED. He’s been facing better over seas and now shows up here after an extended vacations. It’s ahrd to look past his two bullet works in the AM. He looks ready to roll. (1) ARCHCAT finished right behind the two favs and ships back in to give them another try.
$7.00 WPS 2 Cost: $21.00
$3.00 Ex 2,5 w/ 1,2,3,5 Cost: $18.00
Race 9:
We’ll focus on three in this Tepin. (2) LOVESTRUCK was an impressive winner in her Spa debut. She’ll attract most of the money and I can’t leave out. Motion puts (4) INVINCIBLE GAL in a more reasonable spot. She’ll likely sit off the pace and make her charge through the stretch. If Jose gets some daylight coming into the lane, they probably won’t catch her. (3) LEXINATOR tried turf last time and ran ok on it. Now she stretches out and will be coming late. Upset chance at a square price..
$7.00 WPS 3 Cost: $21.00
$5.00 Ex 3,4 w/ 3,4,5 Cost: $20.00
Race 10:
We’ll use the two favs in here as savors. Both (9) PROPENSITY and (10) UNPRECEDENTED are capable as they have numbers that are better than most. They just aren’t reliable so I’m taking at shot with two others. I’m all in with (3) RED MULE. His Belmont run two back would beat these today and I like the move to Davis. They will sit chilly in the early part of the race and then stretch their legs down the lane. (2) DARING DISGUISE has a similar style to RED, so which ever one can work out the better trip may make the difference between 1st or 2nd.
