Saturday racing at Aqueduct and it is a loaded card with four stake races. Feels like a good day to have a day, so we will be looking to cash in a pair of pick 3 plays that cover the pick 6 sequence. I will be covering races 5-7 and Big Pete will be covering races 8-10. We also will have our "Play of the Day" on some races we want to take a chance on. R5: 2, 5, 7

R6: 2, 5, 6, 8

R7: 5, 7, 8, 9

Cost: $48.00

Big Pete's $1.00 Late Pick 3:

R8: 1, 8

R9: 7, 8, 9, 10

R10: 1, 4, 6, 11

Cost: $32.00

Little Pete's "Play of the Day":

Race 3:

I am going to parlay Big Pete's race into my "Play of the Day." I really like the two horses he mentioned in here, (2) Monday Morning QB and (5) Attachment Rate, so I think it is worth playing some vertical action on them. My top pick is going to be (5) Attachment Rate who I think is running in top form right now and will be lower than the 4/1 odds come

$7.00 WPS 5 cost: $21.00

$3.00 Ex 2,5 w/ 1,2,3,5 Cost: $18.00

Big Pete's "Play of the Day":

Race 2:

(4) COREY SCORES cuts back for Rice, who tried going longer against better last time. Now she’s entered in the right spot and stable jock gets the leg up. Both races she ran this summer would beat this group today. Most likely stalks the speeds before Lezcano tips her out for the stretch drive.

We’ll use her on top and two closers to pick up the pieces for our exacta.

(3) Abby Normal and (8) High School Crush

$ 7.00 Exacta 4 w/ 3, 8 Cost $ 14.00

We’ll also use Corey in R2 and try to cash in on a DAILY DOUBLE play.

Both (2) Monday Morning QB and (5) Attachment Rate look solid in the 3rd.

$ 7.00 Double 4 w/ 2, 5 Cost $ 14.00

Little Pete's Spot Pick 3:

Race 5:

Three deep in the first leg and it looks like the Rudy Rodriguez barn is getting hot. They sent out a 7 year old yesterday in a similar level and she wired the field. I am expecting a big race from (7) Autostrade in here and this horse will be my top pick. I think this horse will have some pace to run into and will be sitting right behind the field and run on down the stretch. I also think (2) Shalako will run a simimlar race and have a late surge to try and hit the wire here first. Last play will be the favorite in (5) Dynamax Prime who is getting back to the correct class to run against and will be forwardly placed in here and could run on with this one. I think Dylan will be aggressive with this horse throughout and will not let the horses behind him have an easy ride.

$5.00 WPS 7 Cost: $15.00

$2.00 Ex Box 2,5,7 Cost: $12.00

Race 6:

I am going to throw my money at (2) Rugged Union who was sold for $195K as a two year old. This horse has been training extremely well and we should expect this horse to shoot from the gate and not look back. I will hedge the play with some others with experience, but I love this horse to get it done here. (8) Subsidize will improve and the workouts show that. This horse will be sitting right behind the pace and should have more stamina come stretch and compete for this one. (5) Jailbreaker is an ascending horse in here and could not leave off my ticket. I think this horse finds his footing earlier in this race and should be able to sustain a big run. Last play will be the horse that sold for $900K in (6) All Mo. This horse has the pedigree and the workouts aren't bad, so will give him a chance first time out but prefer the other firster mentioned.

$3.00 WPS 2 Cost: $9.00

$2.00 Ex 2,8 w/ 2,5,6,8 Cost: $12.00

$1.00 Ex 5,6 w/ 2,5,6,8 Cost: $6.00

Race 7:

We have a competitive race in the Central Park and I landed on four horses to close the ticket. My top selection is going to be (5) Scarlett Sky who I think is finding his footing on grass and keeps improving each time out. (7) Hard Love and (8) Never Surprised are both horses who had extremely impressive debut victories and now facing winners for the first time. I think that both of these horses will run a similar race to their last and that would put both of these horses in the winner's circle, so we will see who can get the best trip in here. My last play is going to be (9) Catman who I really think will benefit from a fast pace in here. This horse gets a surface with moisture and has proven the ability to handle it. I think that this horse will be a late charging horse and I want the fastest horse late.

$3.00 WPS 5 Cost: $9.00

$2.00 Ex 5,7 w/ 5,7,8,9 Cost: $12.00

$1.00 Ex 8,9 w/ 5,7,8,9 Cost: $6.00

Big Pete's Late Pick 3:

Race 8:

We won’t spend a lot of time on this race as (8) CENTER AISLE looks to have a major class edge on this group. If she runs her last two races, the rest of them are running for 2nd. I’ll use the one closer that scares me a little. (1) CRITICAL VALUE has been going to far. She’s a sprinter and finally gets back to doing that. She’s not as fast as Center Aisle but if that one isn’t 100%, VALUE will offer just that close to home.

$7.00 Ex 8 w/ 1,5 Cost: $14.00

$3.00 Ex 1,5 w/ 1,5,8 Cost: 12.00

Race 9:

I’ll use the outside runners and try to beat likely favorite (10) THERAPIST. Just got up in the Artie, and now cuts back. I landed on (7) EL TORMENTA as he also cuts back. He was dangerous last year sprinting then, went on th shelf. Two preps this year against slightly better, should have him ready foe a good effort today. (9) ARCHIDUST is as consistent as they come. Rough start may have cost him last time so Asmussen switches to Juarez today. They should stalk and come running late. (8) MAXWELL ESQUIRE gets the acid test today. This 3yr NY Bred has been strong all year but now faces some serious sprinters.

$7.00 WPS 7 Cost: $21.00

$3.00 Ex 7,9 w/ 7,8,9,10 Cost: $18.00

Race 10:

(11) HUNGRY KITTEN just missed when she finished strong. She’s been doing that all year so I’m thinking she’ll be coming once again. Jose bails on her so I’ll lean on (4) MUTAMAKINA to hold her off late. She got in trouble last time through the stretch and will look for Davis to give her clear sailing. She’ll be a handful today. Jose switches to (1) ELIADE and Pletcher. Just missed against Kitten three back and she probably won’t mind the give in the turf. She’s hard to leave off the ticket. (6) ENGLISH AFFAIR ran huge two back on a soft turf. A Re-Pete of that would be enough in here. She’s working fast in the mornings for this.

$7.00 WPS 4 Cost: $21.00

$3.00 Ex 1,4 w/ 1,4,6,11 Cost: $21.00
