Friday racing at Aqueduct and we have you covered for the pick 6 sequence. We will be breaking it down in a pair of pick three plays where I will be focusing on races 5-7 and Big Pete will key in on races 8-10. We also will have our "Play of the Day" on a race we see as hittable. Make sure to subscribe to the newsletter to receive notifications of new blog posts and a weekly blog sent to your email. GOOD LUCK.

Little Pete's $1.00 Spot Pick 3:

R5: 4, 6, 10, 12

R6: 8, 9, 10

R7: 1, 4, 6

Cost: $36.00

Big Pete's $1.00 Late Pick 3:

R8: 1, 5, 8

R9: 4, 5, 10, 12

R10: 1, 6, 12, 15

Cost: $48.00

Little Pete's "Play of the Day":

Race 2:

I am going to give the Charlie Marquez a play in here aboard the (4) In Vain. This horse has been training well and I think will take well to the wet track. I am expecting an aggressive early ride in here and that should place this horse in a winning position late. I think that the young jock will be able to sustain a big run in here aboard a firster.

$5.00 WPS 4 Cost: $15.00

$3.00 Ex 4 w/ 6,8,9 Cost: $9.00

Big Pete's "Play of the Day":

Race 3:

(1A) STAY FOND came from the clouds last time to just miss at 7F. She'll likely be a little closer than last time before she makes her run through the stretch. She may be shorter than her 4:1 ML so we’ll try to hit the exacta with two price horses.

Both Sister Alexa and Factoring have speed so we’ll look for one of them to be in front at the 1/8th pole with Stay Fond coming to get them.

(6) Sister Alexa and (8) Factoring:

$10.00 Ex 1 w/ 6,8 Cost: $20.00

Little Pete's Spot Pick 3:

Race 5:

This is going to be a competitive race with it remaining on grass. Early speed in here is important here for me as we are unsure how well the track will hold up for closing late. Which is why I think (6) Price Talk is a major threat in here to just wire the field and a must play for me. I also like (4) Basquiat to be sitting right behind the early pace and have a chance to run down the leaders. (10) City Man is coming in from a red hot barn and looks to have the speed needed in here to stay up front with the crowd. I think this horse is a contender late. My top play in here is going to be a late surge from (12) Reconvene to take this one. I think that the outside post will allow this horse to find his footing on the wet surface and run on with it late.

$3.00 WPS 12 Cost: $9.00

$2.00 Ex 6,12 w/ 4,6,10,12 Cost: $12.00

$1.00 Ex 4,10 w/ 4,6,10,12 Cost: $6.00

Race 6:

I am going to stay to the outside in this one and go three deep. (9) Sirenic will enjoy the drop in class and will run like the favorite she should be and a must play here for me. (10) WhyisSheSooLucky is going to be a closer in here for me that I like to come in strongly late. (8) HardStoneMelody is my price play here who I think will get a better trip in here and be able to sustain a big run at this lower level.

$3.00 WPS 8 Cost: $9.00

$2.00 Ex Box 8,9,10 Cost: $12.00

Race 7:

The two favorites in here look tough in here and a must play; (1/1A) and (4) Pete's Play Call. With that said, I also am going to include (6) Secret Rules who I expect to be sent to the early lead and try and run on with this one. This surface will be tough to close on and I think this horse has a good chance of making an upset.

$3.00 WPS 6 Cost: $9.00

$2.00 Ex Box 1,4,6 Cost: $12.00

Big Pete's Late Pick 3:

Race 8:

(8) GALE wasn't beating much behind her last time but was very impressive doing it. She took control and was never in doubt. Meets better fillies today but a Re-Pete puts her back in the winners circle. Jose saw the same thing and jumps aboard. (1) MISS MARISSA beat Bonny South, who managed 2nd yesterday to a nice filly. Davis is a good fit for this stalker who should be closing in through the stretch. (5) THANKFUL has improved each time out and gets the acid test for Pletcher today. The two turns will only help.

$7.00 WPS 8 Cost: $21.00

$3.00 Ex 1,8 w/ 1,3,5,8 Cost: $18.00

Race 9:

Brown has two in here and either can win. I’ll lean more on (12) TAPIT TODAY. She got along with Jose when he jumped aboard last time and they team up again. She was able to close into a slow pace and won rather easily. Stable mate (10) MISS TEHERAN may want longer but if Juarez can weave through traffic, they should be a threat late. The give in the turf helps her the most. (5) CHALEUR has some speed and with these tight turns, may be able get away coming into the stretch before the closers start their charge. She can hold on for 2nd here. (4) FEEL GLORIOUS just beat Chaleur three back and will be the threat late again.

$7.00 WPS 12 Cost: $21.00

$3.00 Ex 10,12 w/ 4,5,10,12 Cost: $18.00

Race 10:

I like both runners exiting the Spa 9/3 off the turf event. (12) LOKOYA ROAD now draws in and may prefer the off dirt instead. Had a bumpy start in that race and still managed to threaten. He’ll be a factor late. (1) THIS ILL DEFEND is the other that just missed graduating that day. The rail and his speed will be a big advantage today. If Carmouche can control it early, they most likely won’t catch them. Looks like the connections have given up on (15) SOUTHERNER is the MTO for Weaver. With the bug up, they may just go and try to steal it. Need to include as he just missed last time vs similar. (6) CHAMPERS is an interesting long shot that has some off dirt experience. We’ll toss in because of the price.

$7.00 WPS 12 Cost: $21.00

$3.00 Ex 1,12 w/ 1,6,12,15 Cost: $18.00
