Not trying to get ahead of myself, but I may be on a six race winning streak. Obviously I am staying humble and definitely have not brought it up to Big Pete. We will be teaming up again and attacking a pair of pick 3 plays that cover the PK6 sequence at Aqueduct. We also will have our "Play of the Day" on race at Aqueduct we would like to try and maximize our play on. Race 2:
(5) Mine the Coin is going to be a relatively nice price come post time and I think that this distance is exactly the distance this horse needs to find the winner's circle. I am expecting Irad to be extremely aggressive early and try and save some stamina around the turn. Any further than this then I would be looking elsewhere, but I think this horse will have enough to get this one done against this field.
$7.00 WPS 5 Cost: $21.00
$4.00 Ex 5 w/ 1A,6,7 Cost: $12.00

Race 4:
This off the turf sprint lost some of its luster as we’ll get a short field and possible short favorite in (12) THREE JOKERS. I’ll take the layup and put this guy on top. It gets interesting as to who will finish in the Place spot. Both Finger Lakes shippers were looking for the “off the turf” and got it. (2) Possetizzly is a MTO and has a late kick that will make him a threat. (9) Breeze Burner has speed so I would think the instructions will be to go early. Three Jokers will target the speed and hold off the closer so I’ll use both of these underneath the favorite and hope they get overlooked at a price.
$10.00 Ex 12 w/ 2,9 Cost: $20.00

Race 5:
I am excited for this pick 3 sequence and think that we will get a good price in this one. I will be spreading five deep in this maiden special weight, but really like a price here. (10) OhYouDidntKnow is a horse that I think will be sent to the front early and has the pedigree to keep running on with it. I think Dylan Davis knows how to handle a horse with early speed and let them run from the gate on their own. Both of Pletcher's horses, (1) Dynamic One and (12) Unbridled Honor, look to be firsters that are ready to run big races so will include both of them. (11) Kid Cash from Rudy Rodriguez ran a good race first time out and we should expect some improvement second time out in here. Experience is huge in these races, so that could be the bump this horse needs to find the winner's circle. My last play is going to be (5) Momza with Rosario aboard for the second time. This horse closed strongly late on a similar track and that could be what this race is asking for; a late closer.
$3.00 WPS 10 Cost: $9.00
$1.00 Ex 1,10,12 w/ 1,5,10,11,12 Cost: $12.00
Race 6:
We remain on the turf in this allowance race and Chad Brown has two tough contenders in here. (9) Graded on a Curve specifically looks to be a tough beat and here and a must play on my ticket. (7) Junkanoo is no slouch and will have the patented late charge down the stretch that Chad Brown horses typically do. With that said, I really like three others in here. (1) Bray ran a huge race last time out at this distance and I think the pace may be a bit quicker in this one, but I like horses training consistently well after a big race last time out. (4) Alley Oop Johnny is a price play here that will be sent to the front early and if left alone he could run away with it. I also think similarly for (12) Klickitat who has been in great form and looks to be finding his way to the winner's circle and not the runner-up.
$3.00 WPS 1 Cost: $9.00
$2.00 Ex 1,9 w/ 1,4,7,9,12 Cost: $16.00
Race 7:
I am anticipating some quick fractions in this one and going to play the outside horses to stalk that pace and have a convincing stretch drive to win this one. (7) Blue Gator looks really good in here and I think will sit right behind the early speed and have a strong stretch drive. (6) Lookin for Trouble is the other Mike Maker horse that I like to challenge for the win in this one. I think this horse will be one of the early speed horses and have the most left late to possibly wire the field. My last play will be (5) Horn of Plenty who is facing winners for the first time, but the performance first time out makes me think this race will set up nicely for him. He came from off the pace to win his debut and I think that effort is what will be needed to win this one.
$3.00 WPS 7 Cost: $9.00
$2.00 Ex Box 5,6,7 Cost: $12.00
Big Pete's Late Pick 3:
Race 8:
(3) MADELEINE MUST has three solid runs the summer and she looks poised for another run here. Clement is hot right now and should have this filly ready. Rosario just needs to stay out of trouble. (10) SECURE CONNECTION has won two in a row on the grass. If she can close on a course with some give in it, she’s the main danger to catch Madeleine. (7) STONE TORNADO will take some action here as you get Brown and Irad. They are the likely favorite and likely winner. A must use. (6) SO GRACIOUS is a Speightstown that will be coming late. No reason she can’t get 2nd here at a price.
$7.00 WPS 3 Cost: $21.00
$3.00 Ex 3,7 w/ 3,6,7,10 Cost: $18.00
Race 9:
Brown has two in here and he gets both of the Ortiz bros. I prefer Jose on (9) VALID POINT. He never was able to run through the stretch three back in the Poker, then tried G1. Now returns to the grass after a breather and strong works. (4) DELAWARE is a Frankel that has yet to win here. Will stalk and be heard from through the stretch. I have to use the rail runner (1) BALLAGH ROCKS. She dominated rivals in the Lure up north and beat a good field last time. I can’t pass up on the 12:1 ML.
$7.00 WPS 9 Cost: $21.00
$3.00 Ex 1,9 w/ 1,4,5,9 Cost: $18.00
Race 10:
(6) CARETAKER will be odds on. Rice claimed him two back and he almost got to the classy Celtic Chaos last time. Aqueduct is his track and should be a handful today. I’m going to get greedy and play (3) KOSCIUSZCKO in this spot. His last win was on this track in Feb. He tried open company this summer, then ran into a sharp Foolish Ghost last time. He gets the bug weight for this as he drops slightly. (9) BRONX BOMBER almost beat this level two back and has the speed to be dangerous today. (11) JUST RIGHT has improved in all three of his races this year. Pletcher puts a for sale sign on this one again. Never a good sign so be careful.
