We have another exciting day of racing at Aqueduct today and we are looking to take down a pair of pick 3 plays. I will be focusing in on races 4-6 and Big Pete will be locked in on races 7-9. We also will have our "Play of the Day" on a race we would like to try and improve our bankroll on. Little Pete "Play of the Day":
Race 1:
(4) Nepotism I think will be live in this one under Manny Franco. I think this horse will be able to sustain a big run at this distance and be able to run on with this one late. An early speed battle would help this horse as I do not think this horse will be sent to the early lead in here. That should pay off late with a trip to the winner's circle.

Big Pete's "Play of the Day":
Race 3:
I’m going to take a stab at a price in this low level claiming event. Flat Awesome Jenny will be tough in here but I’m looking for (4) COVER PHOTO to get the jump on Jenny and hold her off. She sat off a slow pace and couldn’t make up ground through the stretch. Today she gets more speed and may get the perfect set-up. Unfortunately, Jenny is too. She’s worth a shot at these 8:1 ML, but we’ll hold our breathe through the stretch.

Little Pete's Spot Pick 3:
Race 4:
I am going to spread out a bit in here. I like (1) Ouch Ouch Ouch to run a big race in here from the inside. I think the horse will take well to the fast track and be able to sustain a big run in here. (4) Democratic Values may just be too good in here and run away with this one late, so will get a play from me. (5) Bourbon Rising is my last play who I think will be able to handle this bunch with a late surge to challenge for this one.

Race 5:
I really like (5) Make Mischief in here. I think that Manny will be able to have this horse sent to the lead and not look back. (6) Pleasure Luck looks to be another horse that continues to show improvement each time out and a must play for me. (3) Shanes Pretty Lady cuts back in distance and trying dirt again and the consistent workouts make me believe this horse is ready to run in this one. Last play will be the entries for (2/2B) who I think both will run a similar late closing race.

Race 6:
(2) Heels Together looks intimidating in here against these unprovens. I will trust the combination and make my top play. (6) Strong Point is another firster I will give a try with Lezcano choosing to ride here. (7) Just Read It ran a nice debut and should show some more improvements in here. Last play will be (5) My Delicious who I think is in pretty good form and could be a relative price in here.

Big Pete's Late Pick 3:
Race 7:
(2) BABY BOSS didn’t have clear sailing last time until it was too late. McCarthy should learn from that and be a little closer to the pace today. Look for them to get first jump and hang on. (5) MISS JIMMY couldn’t hold on to 2nd in that race. She’s been some what consistent but may be tailing off. We’ll use but can’t take the 9:5 offering with the connections here. (7) ELEGANT ZIP is interesting as the layoff did her some good with a nice win last time. She needs to improve off of that against these but it’s not impossible. Speaking of impossible, that leads me to (6) PENDOLINO. She’s bid odds and slower than these but she has a thing for Aqueduct. She ran her best race last time against better for a new barn and rider and cut back to her best distance. She’ll get plenty of speed to set her up and I can’t leave off the ticket.

Race 8:
The entry looks solid as most will focus on the (1) HELLO HOT ROD. He’ll likely go from the rail and try to wire them. If others go, he’ll likely get bailed out by his stable mate (1A) SCOTCH ROCK’S. (4) RETURN THE RING made it look easy in his maiden score. If they leave him alone again, this Speighster can steal it again. If a few of them decide to mix it up early, (5) PICO D’ORO, will be the beneficiary. He’ll need the speeds to back up as both his wins came from just off the pace.

Race 9:
We end this Pk3 with some slow colts. (6) SCOTTY improved last time when he dropped to this level and switched to dirt. He’s bred for turf so we’ll look for others. (5) UP FOR ADVENTURE has a bullet for his debut and gets Davis. We’ll include. I like the one dropping in for a tag. (4) EIGHT WEEKS LONG wants to go long and now get L1 first time after a short recess. Hennig is on fire right now and they may have found the right field. I’m all in. (7) LITTERBOX scratched earlier this week and lands here. He made up some ground going 6F but this Central Banker probably wants more distance like he gets today. Look for him to be coming late to the scene.
