10 races on Day 2 of the Belmont Stakes Racing Festival at Saratoga. I will be condensing my plays down to just the numbers and attacking the early double starting in R2 (Races 1 & 2) and a spot pick 3 (Races 5-7). Big Pete will attack his "Play of the Day" and the late pick 3 (Races 8-10). We appreciate you taking a look at this write-up and GOOD LUCK.

R2: 1, 7 Cost: $ 10.00

Little Pete's $ 1.00 Spot Pick 3:

R5: 9, 10

R6: 1, 8, 9

R7: 1, 5, 6, 7 Cost: $ 24.00

Big Pete's $ 1.00 Late Pick 3:

R8: 3, 4, 8

R9: 1, 2

R10: 1, 3, 9, 10 Cost: $ 24.00

Big Pete's "Play of the Day":

Race 3:

(6) VERNON VALLEY gets a dry track and some speed inside of her. She didn't break well last time and still managed to gather herself and come late for the win. She looks the part with a couple of bullets and breeding to make some noise today.

I’ll use (2) Gena B and (3) Sassy C W underneath for the exacta.

We’ll also use (6) Vernon Valley in R3 and try to cash in on a Daily Double.

(4) Tales of the Heart and (9) LA Salvadorena in the 4th.

Big Pete's Late Pick 3:

Race 8:

(8) FILM STAR figures to be tough in here. He has a win on this track, and he gets Jose back for another try. (3) CLASSIC CATCH finished right behind Star last time and draws inside to save some ground. That's all that Johnny needs to save some for the end. (4) WILLY D'S ships in and has the speed. No one is better than Saez at dictating the pace. They need to catch this guy.

Race 9:

(1) CAMEO PERFORMANCE is coming out of a G1 where he was primed for an upset last time but just ran into top G1 material when it mattered. He gets a little relief today and looks strong. Brown has a Euro that clearly needed one off a year absence and picks up Prat. (2) INTELLECT is primed for a good one and should save all the ground. I'll try to get by with just these two.

Race 10:

(1) QUEENS FABLE is from Brown but has burned a lot of money. I trust Irad, though, and he is a must-use for me. (3) GREEN JOBS is the other Brown. He moves back to the grass and has medication to help him along. He's meant for the turf, and he gets Prat for this. (9) SMARTEST adds L1 and took a lot of money in his debut. He looks ready to go in this finale. (10) JUST SO PRETTY looks solid as they just missed last time and will be looking for the lead from his outside post again.
