Ten races on Travers Eve at the Spa. I will be condensing my plays down to just the number and attacking the early double (Races 1 & 2) and a spot pick 3 (Races 5-7). Big Pete will attack his "Play of the Day" and the late pick 3 (Races 8-10). We appreciate you taking a look at this write-up and GOOD LUCK.

Big Pete's "Play of the Day":
Race 3:
Spoiler alert, this favorite is jumping off a cliff down to this 12k level. I have to try and beat him even though he looks the part. I want to try (2) SHIPSATIONAL in this part. He too drops a little but showed improvement the first time for new connections last time. They figure to save ground behind a bunch of speeds entered. Davis needs to find a hole turning for home and pass the tiring horses.
I’ll use (6) Fever Night and (7) Polar Bear Plunge to complete the exacta.

We’ll also use (2) Shipsational in R3 and try to cash in on a Daily Double.

Big Pete's Late Pick 3:
Race 8:
(1) EVERSHED takes the exact path as last year when she was a good 2nd in the G2 Oaks here. She prepped one time at Colonial in July and ships in for this G3 Waya this year. This time she gets Prat. All in. (3) WHITEHORN has yet to miss the board. Blinkers were added last time and this maiden jogged at this distance. (6) STORM MIAMI is the speed and Johnny V returns. That's dangerous. Jr will need to save some ground around three turns with (9) UNMERITED FAVOR to have a chance.

Race 9:
With several speeds signed on, I'll look for stalkers and closers to get us through this sequence. (2) PROUD FOOT has been solid in all three races this year. She had some trouble last time but still managed to grab a check. This barn is producing, so I'll go with the hot hand right now. (3) CONFIRMED STAR is the new shooter in here. They shipped in last time and were involved with Proud Foot in that trouble. They bring in her regular rider today, so this mare seems very live to me. If (6) CITY BLOCK runs her last race, she'll be tough in here. The switch to Prat is hard to ignore, and this barn tends to improve their runners the first time out after they claim them.

Race 10:
This race seems to go through the Clement barn. He has (5) RHYTON in here who was just behind his stablemate (1) ILLMATIC. Both look tough in here, and you get Jose and Prat. I think one of these is your race winner, but I can't leave out (8) JOKER ON FIRE as she beat them both last time. It may come down to who gets the best trip today.
