3yr old fillies take center stage on this Alabama Saturday. I will be condensing my plays down to just the number and attacking the early double (Races 1 & 2) and a spot pick 3 (Races 6-8). Big Pete will attack two "Play of the Day" and the late pick 3 (Races 9-11); GOOD LUCK.

Little Pete's $ 5.00 Early Double:

R1: 3, 8

R2: 4, 7 Cost: $ 20.00

Little Pete's $ 1.00 Spot Pick 3:

R7: 2, 7

R8: 6, 8, 9, 11

R9: 4, 6, 7 Cost: $ 24.00

Big Pete's $ 1.00 Late Pick 3:

R10: 1, 5, 6

R11: 4, 6

R12: 1, 2, 4, 5, 6, 8 Cost: $ 36.00

Big Pete's "Play of the Day":

Race 4:

I'll (3) GIVE HER ANOTHER chance as this filly cuts back to sprinting. Potts claimed her three back and she goes third time out for this barn. Two show placings should have her ready to produce her best effort yet. She finished right behind Greyjoy last time, and that one jogged the other day. Tyler stays up, and there is speed to help set up her late kick.

$ 7.00 WPS 3 Cost: $ 21.00

$ 3.00 Ex Box 1, 2, 3 Cost: $ 18.00

We'll use (3) Give Her Another in R4 and try to cash in on a Daily Double.

(10) Loveontheleftbank or (11) Devilish Grin in the 5th.

$ 7.00 Daily Double 3 w/ 10, 11 Cost $ 14.00

Big Pete's "Play of the Day":

Race 6:

(5) FOREVER CARINA makes her debut as she attracts Jose for the Brown barn. Steady works and this 6.5F distance fits well for these Gun Runners as they come out running every time. Look for them to go early and try to win by getting separation turning for home.

$ 7.00 WPS 5 Cost: $ 21.00

$ 3.00 Ex Box 4, 5, 9 Cost: $ 18.00

We'll use (5) Forever Carina in R6 and try to cash in on a Daily Double.

(2) Cat On Time or (7) Gunmetal in the 7th.

$ 5.00 Daily Double 5 w/ 2, 7 Cost $ 10.00

Big Pete's Late Pick 3:

Race 10:

(6) SEGESTA looms large exiting the G1 Diane, and the slight cutback is helpful. A must-use as she has the class to control from the start. (5) AND ONE MORE TIME has speed to go as well. She can give the favorite some trouble if she can break quicker and grab the hedge. Both can gain the advantage if either breaks on top of the other. This bodes well for the stalkers. I'll try one of them to catch them both. (1) OZARA draws the hedge and can save ground. Dylan is two for two on this mare, and she sports similar speed figures as the top two. If the speed heats up, she can steal it late.

$ 7.00 WPS 1 Cost $ 21.00

$ 3.00 Ex Box 1, 5, 6 Cost $ 18.00

Race 11:

(6) COUNTING STARS will be a single on several tickets, and I can't knock it. But this 10F distance is not for everyone. She may be just better than these and can get it done regardless. I'll use her, but I can't resist the Gun Runner influence from (4) MY GUN'S LOADED. She looked like she could run all day winning her last at a mile. The extra turn shouldn't matter. If she improves with distance, she will be a problem for the favorite.

$ 7.00 WPS 4 Cost $ 21.00

$ 10.00 Ex Box 4, 6 Cost $ 20.00

Race 12:

This one is wide open. I'm using all but two in here. Each has a race or two that can win this, so I have to spread out. I like two more than the others. (8) OSMOSIS adds L1 for this and picks up Tyler. She comes off a layoff, but if she's ready, she can do it. The other one is (4) FANGO CREEK. The extra furlong should be right up her alley with Dansili underneath. The filly that finished ahead of her last time returned to graduate. Today should be her turn.

$ 7.00 WPS 4 Cost $ 21.00

$ 3.00 Ex 4, 8 w/ 1, 4, 6, 8 Cost $ 18.00
