Nine races at Belmont at the Big A. No feature but several full fields. I will be condensing my plays down to just the numbers and attacking the early double starting in R2 (Races 1 & 2) and a spot pick 3 (Races 4-6). Big Pete will attack his "Play of the Day" and the late pick 3 (Races 7-9). We appreciate you taking a look at this write-up and GOOD LUCK.

Little Pete's $ 5.00 Early Double:

R1: 5, 6

R2: 2, 4 Cost: $ 20.00

Little Pete's $ 1.00 Spot Pick 3:

R4: 4, 7

R5: 1, 2, 8, 10

R6: 4, 9, 10 Cost: $ 24.00

Big Pete's $ 1.00 Late Pick 3:

R7: 4, 6, 7

R8: 3, 4, 6, 13

R9: 8, 9, 11, 13 Cost: $ 48.00

Big Pete's "Play of the Day":

Race 3:

Both Sand Devil and Tip Top Thomas will take most of the action and both look the part. I'll use but I have to take a shot with (6) TOGA D'ORO on the switch to Prat. Toga dominated a decent field in his maiden score and probably bled next time out. They add L1 today in addition to Prat and the one turn should be perfect for this Bolt D'Oro.

I’ll use (2) Sand Devil and (4) Tip Top Thomas underneath for the exacta.

$ 7.00 WPS 6 Cost $ 21.00

$ 3.00 Ex Box 2, 4, 6 Cost $ 18.00

We’ll also use (6) Toga D'Oro in R3 and try to cash in on a Daily Double.

(4) Moonlit Weekend and (7) Scarlett's Dream in the 4th.

$ 7.00 Daily Double 6 w/ 4, 7 Cost $ 14.00

Big Pete's Late Pick 3:

Race 7:

(4) FLAT OUT FLYING, at 9 years old, may be in the best form of his career. He got caught too far back in the slop last time and was left with too much to do. Rider switch off the claim and hot barn makes this guy the one to beat. (7) SUERTE won't go off his morning line, but half would be enough. They dropped him last time and he was moving okay in that same race, got claimed, but still ran okay. (6) WINTER'S GHOST is the wise guy. Prat takes the mount and they should be the speed of this bunch. He was not that far from Suerte last time and Prat can make up that distance.

$ 7.00 WPS 4 Cost $ 21.00

$ 3.00 Exacta Box 4, 6, 7 Cost $ 18.00

Race 8:

(3) ROYAL BROWNE adds Irad and has several speed figures that top this group. (6) KICK A BUCK ships back up for Rice and also has good figures. Both are a must-use. The AE runner, (13) BARNSTORMING is the speed and draws in. If he can clear from out there, he'll be tough. I can't ignore the switch to Prat on (4) OUTTAWATERBURY. Donk is tough to like with his goose egg, but the horse and rider drop slightly and were getting good last year before something went wrong in November. He's been out twice now this year and looks poised to start running again.

$ 7.00 WPS 4 Cost $ 21.00

$ 3.00 Exacta 3, 4 w/ 3, 4, 6, 13

Cost $ 18.00

Race 9:

(11) PATRONAGE gets Davis as he had a choice on which one to ride. They move back in against NY Breds and go out for Maker for the first time. (13) DAKOTA COUNTRY was the other Davis but gets a decent replacement in Rosario. He's an AE that draws in with some decent speed figures. (8) G FIVE has Irad and some speed. (9) NAGUILE is bred well for turf, so I'll include both.

$ 7.00 WPS 11 Cost $ 21.00

$ 3.00 Exacta 11, 13 w/ 8, 9, 11, 13 Cost $ 18.00
