Eight races scheduled on this Thursday card at the Big A with no feature. I will be condensing my plays down to just the numbers and attacking the early double starting in R2 (Races 1 & 2) and a spot pick 3 (Races 3-5). Big Pete will attack his "Play of the Day" and the late pick 3 (Races 6-8). We appreciate you taking a look at this write-up and GOOD LUCK.

Race 3:
(5) HOULTON has some of the higher speed figures of this bunch. He tried to close last time, but the pace was just ordinary and he couldn't catch the leaders. This time there is speed signed on, so the setup should be there. Carmouche stays up, and he'll get first jump on the favorite and try to hold him off.
I’ll use (3) Sorority Prank and (6) Incantation underneath for the exacta.

Big Pete's Late Pick 3:
Race 6:
(6) BOLD ENDEAVOR cuts back from 11 to 9F, and that's what he prefers. He dominated against slightly better twice at this distance. Franco takes the re-ride. The only other one is (5) MARGIN OF AIR , who was claimed by Rice in December and may have needed his last. The works are solid, and they call on Carmouche today. All systems go.

Race 7:
(1) REASONED ANALYSIS is the one to beat. Brown has given this guy some time to regroup since the Woody Stephens. His sprint race in early March was a public workout for this. He should be ready to roll today. (4) REDDINGTON was claimed last time, and they throw Javier up. His last speed figure matches up to these. (5) TREATY OBLIGATION lost it at the start, so I'll forgive that one. He draws nicely outside and likely stalks and comes with his usual run. If they draw daylight turning for home, they might prove tough to get by.

Race 8:
(6) KING OF THE CASTLE is just that. He dropped to this level last time and posted the highest speed figure of this bunch. Looks like more of the same as Franco takes over for Cox. He'll be tough to beat, but I'll use a saver just in case. (5) FINES CREEK has a couple of races that make him a player in here. He has some speed that they might use to their advantage and try to wire them.
